Hi emene, are you using the HGI 15M from Bob for this lower TF trading? I have the indicator running since the asian open and it has not generated any trend arrows for me, only waves. Upon reattaching the indicator again, I find that some waves has disappeared and some are replaced by the trend arrow.

I understand what is happening with the indicator. In short, I just wish to ask if you are refreshing the chart once awhile to check if anything has repainted?

No, I have not heard of HGI M15. Please point me to the right direction so I can have a look.

This thread is called short TF because the few first tardes I posted were on lower time frames but I trade the same way on any chart, an instrument, any time frame.

Hi emene, you can find the indi at the HGI main thread page 161 posted by Bob himself. Anyways, do you constantly refresh the chart on lower TF to check if there has been any repainting?

Thank you for the link.

I refresh now and then to avoid having my chart cluttered. Keep in mind that HGI signals are not my trigger but helpers. Although you can use HGI as a plug and play system, I believe there is much more to the picture than that.

Side note (not directed to you specifically): I notice that despite the high quality information provided on this website, a lot of traders are still looking for a set of rules that will apply to the market, all the instruments, all the time.

It takes time to develop your personal edge over time and if the rules were as strict as people would like them to be, a successful EA would be doing the trading for us. The fact that there is no such thing should remind us to stay flexible in our approach of trading.

Only screen time and hard work will make us progress. Let's not waste time trying to find shortcuts that do not exist.

Can I know what are the settings for your suppdem indi? They look so neat on the chart. I hv downloaded the indicator but just could not get the settings to look so neat.

Hello, you have already asked and I did not reply for the very reasons I have just explained above in my last post. I suggest you learn to understand the indy, play with the settings yourself, until you see how it works and you find something that come close to what you are looking for. The time you will spend searching will serve you well.
