Closed for 10 pips few minutes before the news release as price penetrated my 1st profit target. I could have moved stop to BE but you never know the volatility that may follow the news release especially at this time and decided to be safe than sorry  |

Hi George/Rene I tried to "group" with more than one on the same chart Does not work even with a second renamed one - "overwrite the first" Perhaps it is possible to identify each with some kind of a setting so as to place more than one on a chart? The indicator in its current state, does not support placing multiple instances of itself on the same chart -- as the screen objects it creates have to be unique for the chart. I can add this feature if this is absolutely necessary. However, I would ask you to concentrate on how to use this indicator for placing profitable trades, rather than discovering new bells and whistles to be added to the code. You may have noticed that George did his "grouping" by having multiple charts, each with a single version of the indicator. |

Hi Mosiskv, I will prefer we don't bother Rene about having 2 or more of the indicator on one chart, as my next appeal to him would be to create something similar to the MADdash which will take care of your request with the option to show current pair only. So, let us be patient and wait for more contributions and feedback into the new year. Cheers George

Hello thx for sharing this great piece of software you,Steve,Rene,Elixe, a lot of great coders and generous people are on this Forum your dashboard is really a great tool it's really amazing how it could fit to my trading style my trading style= I usually place 3 moving averages on H1 and H4,following Fibonacci numbers, such as 8,13,34 or 13,21,34 or 21,34,55, according to volatility\time of the day and I watch the same 3 MAverages on M5 TimeFrame. With this triple combo,I 'm able to catch M5 trends as soon as they form on the charts.Wait for obvious retracement levels and simply jump in. I hope it helps. Currently I'm using your MA Dashboard with 2 MAs only,and it is really helpful. I appreciate a lot the customizable MA settings,I mean the wide range of MA settings. I'm dreaming about a possible add-on in the future,a 3rd customizable MA . It would be perfect to see a green \ red arrow when 13 period MA is > 21 > 34 for each TimeFrame So this is my Xmas wish... @Bippo: thank you for your feedback and suggestions! I leave future directions of the MA dashboard in the hands of George so that we don't loose ourselves in a multitude of versions and change requests. So if your Xmas wishes fit in with the general direction for this tool you will be in luck. Otherwise too bad. |
