Hi All,

Let me introduce the new indicator of my strategy that I have asked Rene to code. It is a paid indicator though Rene is very generous and let me donate just a tiny amount. :good: The indicator is an excellent product from Rene  and, as I have taken much from SHF in these years  , I think it's time to give out something and hope that it can help the members of the forum. Also, let's work together to improve it!

The PacMacS (Price action channel, MACD, Stochastic) method is 1) multi-time frame & 2) trend following & 3) Momentum following strategy.

The signal logic is a bit modified from my first post and I have dropped out the use of TDI.

1) Price Action (P): previous candle close higher than high side (calculated by high price) of 10 LWMA channel (user-defined, default 10 and LWMA, can be EMA etc), reading is +1; lower than low side (calculated by low price) of 10 LWMA, reading is -1; in between, reading is 0

2) MACD (M): Last period Main above signal line, reading is +1; main below signal, reading is -1; (12,26,9 default and user defined)

3) Stochastic (S): %K above %D, reading is +1; %K below %D, reading is -1 (8,3,3 default and user defined)

For Time frame signal M15,H1, H4, D1:

Buy: 1)+2)+ 3) = +3
Sell: 1)+2)+ 3) = -3

see example:
1.png
For Rating Signal:

1) each time frame rating = 2*P+M+S
2) Total rating =summation of time ratings from H1 to D1
3) Rating (Main) Buy signal when: a) total rating >= zero and b) M15 time frame signal is buy (+3)
vice versa for Rating Sell Signal

For the above case: a) total rating = -4 (only for sell) and b) M15 time frame signal is “Pending” --> no buy or sell signal --> “Pending” for Rating Signal

For the Biased column:
In M15 time frame (by default M15 and user –defined)

1) For previous candle, when Low side of 10 LWMA price channel (default 10 and LWMA, user-defined, always same as P above) is higher than high side of 720 LWMA channel (default 180 and LWMA, user defined) --> “Long”
2) For previous candle, when high side of 10 LWMA price channel (default 10 and LWMA, user-defined, always same as P above) is lower than low side of 720 LWMA channel (default 180 and LWMA, user defined) --> “Short”
3) Not 1 or 2 --> “sideway”

Why 720 in M15? As 720 x 15 = 10800 which indicate a weekly time frame. I trade when the signal in line with the biased, then it is a trend following. Of course, you can trade when they don't agree and it will be a counter-trend trade and seeking for short term gain. In addition, the maximum rating is 12 (4 in each timeframe), so when I see a signal with a rating of +12 or -12, I will play the signal with much caution as the rally maybe extended or even exhausted. And in some case I will use Captain Jack's method to see if there is any reversal entries.

Remember: the default long channel is 180 as I have erroneously asked Rene to code in 180, so you need to correct it to 720 in the setting

For Weekly Trend (Wk Trend)

1) Previous weekly candle is bull candle and close above 10 LWMA price channel (default 10 and LWMA, user-defined) --> Bull Up
2) Previous weekly candle is bear candle and close above 10 LWMA price channel (default 10 and LWMA, user-defined) --> Bull Retrace
3) Previous weekly candle is bear candle and close below 10 LWMA price channel (default 10 and LWMA, user-defined) --> Bear Down
4) Previous weekly candle is bull candle and close below 10 LWMA price channel (default 10 and LWMA, user-defined) --> Bear Retrace
5) Previous weekly candle is bull candle and close inside 10 LWMA price channel (default 10 and LWMA, user-defined) --> Sideway Up
6) Previous weekly candle is bear candle and close inside 10 LWMA price channel (default 10 and LWMA, user-defined) --> Sideway Down

This is an added trend read so that you won't do trade much violated with the weekly trend or play it with caution.

You can press the symbol in the dashboard and all your existing opened charts (suppose you wil have M15,H1, H4 and D1 charts opended) will changed to that symbol as it is intended to be a multi time frame strategy and you need not to pull the symbol on each TF which is time consuming.

looking forward your comment and see if we can improve it and earn more green pips :yahoo:

GJ sell signal. Counter-trend, pin after signal bar (momentum suddenly fade) with previous 3 pushes and seems trapping volume at low...Also, 0 rating is fragile for any signal. I long rather than short. SL at trapping zone low + spread. Even short, I prefer to place limit order at 50% or 61.8% of signal bar body.
