The main concept behind is that the pairs will complete their cycle. May take long but on a weekly basis, something should drop.

My target is:
Individual pairs: $25 or 270 pips
Whole Basket: $50 or 550 pips
I left it running full auto.

D1 SS threshold is 1.5 / H4 Peaky 1682

This week: USDCAD, EURGBP and AUDUSD closed in profit of combined 750+ pips

Next week: I expect EURJPY, EURUSD, GBPJPY to close out as well. They are approaching target.

New batch of USDCAD is in already.

Understanding how buy-low sell-high principle works will help to understand this better.

Started SPB demo on Wednesday and went into the weekend with 15 open trades and -781 pips UPL. Hoping for a turnaround next week to match others' results.

There are updated versions of the family in their respective threads. There is no change to functions; they all now have the code required to allow us to send our results to the SHF tester database. I have not changed the version numbers.

There is a debug statement left behind in Holy and Buddha that will leave your version leaving behind mahoosive log files that will quickly clog up your Empty4 instance.

Do a search for "Print(SpreadArray[PairIndex][longtermtickscounted]++);", delete this line and recompile.

No idea how to make the edit? Go to http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... ?f=21&t=64, download "How to edit a script code.zip" and follow the instructions contained within the zipfile.

Too wet and pathetic to do this? Leave SHF. You are not welcome here.

Future releases of the bots will contain the changes. They might take a while arriving as I have no updates planned; in the meantime, your Empty4 instances will be clogging up with massive logfiles. Don't know logfiels these are? Find out.

It was not I who left this debugging statement behind, so it could be present in all of the Slopey family. I do not know. I am merely acting on info provided to me tonight.

Anyone here still think that relying on others to do their thinking for them is a good idea?

Well, the hoped for turnaround duly materialised. After UPL extending to -1200 pips, SPB closed today +1328 pips equating to +2.6% balance increase since commencing a week ago, at the expense of -1.5% maximum equity drawdown.

Pretty impressive - I'll update at the end of the week and if I can figure out how to take screenshots from my VPS (Windows Server Stone Age Build) I'll include those too.

Timing is everything, but we do not often have control over that.

Going back to last week, a basket closed on Tuesday or Wednesday - cannot remember which. My version started taking trades at the same time as yours did. It went deep into DD - account threateningly deep - then recovered today and closed out at the requisite profit.

Some inputs need tweaking.

Taking screenshots at the end of the week is also stone-aged. SHF has better ways like a database to upload results and share them. Interested? Look around.
