Current Open Trades:

A small Template update might be coming, but not a lot has changed.
I still use Baludas SuperSlope, but I have it instead only opened on TDesk as it takes too much CPU having it on all 28Charts opened.
I use the RSI indicator for a quick glance which direction the trend is. Again.. the main directional factor is still the SS.

As I dont plan this to be a free signal service, I wont be always sharing my entries. Anyone interested can load up my template and should understand the reason of my entries (at least most of the time)

Hi FC,

As mentioned - I do have a similar set-up. I tried your setup but the test machine struggled so I'll be interested to see how the new updates shape up. Below is what I am using for now - though I expect it to change as I attempt to make better use of TDesk, and potentially Desky.

Entry is on a rad following a wave trend signal, with the moving average crossed in the same direction. Preference is for H4 and D1 HGI in alignment. The daily moving average (light blue/light purple line) gives me directional bias and an exit point. CSS must also support the move, so I'll keep out if the D1 CSS is ranging or doesn't agree with the H4 chart indicators.

Trade Management: 3 lots - SL at least 2x ADR, sometimes higher. 1 lot TP at 1x ADR, 1 lot TP at 2x ADR and move the stop of the 2 remaining lots to breakeven. If/when TP2 is hit I'll trail the 3rd lot by 50 pips. I normally exit if HGI shows a range signal. If the trend continues I'll attempt to hop back in on the RAD.

The MTF HGI Bars TD V2 indicator is the first step in integrating TDesk. The other 2 oscillators are supposed to help me tell when the trend is coming to an end. They seemed useful when testing but not so much on live - so will probably drop them soon.

Do you use MPTM for your trade management or manual?

All manual at the moment (with a script to help close positions in an emergency). I've not looked at MPTM, but will take a closer look as I am interested in automating more.

I know that I've not been rigorous enough in following my own rules and so will need to develop my trading rules a bit more before attempting automation. I sometimes close trades early to lock in profit, or remove a TP and let a trade run if I think there are fundamentals to support it. I'm fairly sure I should stop doing this as I have no real insight into the fundamentals driving global markets.

MPTM is an amazing tool, I am also looking at it very closely these days.

As you said, its not good to let discretion get involved into your trades. The MPTM is a great way to lessen the degree of discretion.

I've still not gotten around to MPTM, but I have been playing with Desky for a couple of days. I have a test of Tdesk and Desky running a simple setup that is similar to my manual trading. Currently running it on a M15 TF to get plenty of entries and exits to test and better understand Desky. I've not worked out how to do trade management in the way that I normally do when trading manually but there are lots of options in Desky so I'm sure something will work in a way that I'll be happy with.

Great stuff. Appreciate that you share and put time into this thread! Subscribed.
I recognized that "Symbol Changer profit display v5" indi is twice on the template and that the anchor is set to right with a big shift which made not all buttons fit into my (smaller) screen.
Attached a set file to fix that.

Would anyone have a link to get more information about the indicator PivotPearls? Did a google search wihtout luck.
