Hi,

This is just to update things. As mentioned such a long time ago, I was hit by an unexpected event and it was hard to maintain my daily routine and yes, as a trader/teacher, I was hit hard. Maybe some of you have lost confidence in CJ's trading style and in me. Becoming fully disoriented, I blew my account in the end but I am not going to erase the records, it is history as it was.

Life is unpredictable. The event that hit me hard and forced me to take a very low paying job - I performed with full commitment at that - for many months till November this year, proved to be the best investment in my life, financially and otherwise. Looking back, it seems to me that one has to accept fate with trust that everything has a purpose in the universe.

As a trader, many times you are called a gambler by your closest relatives, advised by family members to stop your activity and take a job instead, called a moron and be looked at as one who believes in fairy tales.

I have had the luck to go through it all. I hope there will be no more trading related challenge and surprise. Traders do not hope but this time I hope because many of the challenges I never expected or saw ahead of the time they came. But who are we to write the scripts of our lives?

The point I want to make is that I started trading in a worker's mode from about March 2025. Slowly, patiently, starting with as little as 550 USD (only added 1k in November). I did this for months as I knew I had all the knowledge already, only patience was needed to get out of the rat race once again. So I want to give hope to all who feel this thing does not work or it is not possible to start small and grow big. You can start with any small amount!

I have not yet created another myfxbook link for reference but I will as I am a full-time trader once again and although I am busy catching up with many things, I have a bit more time to do such things. However, I started broadcasting account growth on YouTube, so it is available for one to check out http://www.youtube.com/@TheFunctionalTrader for daily live streams, stream history and performance records (started doing this in November in a more or less regular fashion).

Of course I have my website and the LinkedIn page of linkedin.com/company/functionaltrader for good and free information. Also, as always, you all have my free support on this website (see CJ's original thread), just ask your question that shows you have read the thread but are stuck with your trading and I will address your issues. I have increased the fees for the paid services but that is for those who have the means and prefer to go on the fast tracks (10% SHF discount and 10% contribution to SHF applies, I pocket around 80% of the total fee). I myself have never paid for educational services and I still could make it with persistence.

UPDATE: contribution to SFH increased to 20%.

are you saying that Sympathy and CJ is the same individual or you meant that their style of trading is the same?

They represented the same knowledge but grabbed pips out of different moves, due to their availability to trade. I also have to say that I do not have proof of their performance. I can only say that I have connected all THEIR DOTS, an renamed the style according to my final conclusion. I will post a picture I wanted to add in the thread but somehow I could not.
Many overlook this pattern. But once one is able to connect the meaning of this pattern with all the other aspects of naked trading, a kind of light will be switched on. It is not what CJ mentioned. This light has to be maintained, revealed over and over again as PA flows. Do not know how else to put it. I spent more than a year studying this pattern only. It is very unfortunate that people do not want to do the same. CJ talked about this pattern, some people drew on his pattern as well - creating more confusion. All I can say now is that if one is willing to study this pattern until one concludes on what it means, where this pattern leads price, it will help a good deal to switch that light on.

Apologies for the late reply, somehow I do not get an email when a new post appears here (my rookie self failed to subscribe to the thread!).
The pattern should be familiar to all who have read CJ's thread. So the first insight is that you should read through the entire thread and the pdf that CJ's shared some time ago (posts from FXAW). Understand that it has taken me ~12 years of reading the same stuff over and over to understand everything and even more. Make notes, think, have your own questions and investigations, experiment and connect the dots. There are insights on this pattern on the channels I maintain with more or less regularity. You can find information on my LinkedIn page (Forex Education for Everyone) on the pattern. Read everything! That is the correct path. Read all the content on my website and make sure you understand and internalize all the tenets. Of course you can pay for a course - that do not come cheap anymore and I only do weekend courses - to get everything, all the hints, all the knowledge once and for all. But it does not have to be that way as I respond those who are not lazy to do the homework, annotate charts and have specific questions that show where one got stuck. I can not address general questions, questions that show how little effort a person has put into understanding the subject.
I hope this helps. Come back to me once you have a specific question reflecting your basic immersion in the thread.
