I don't use hidden pips myself so for me "hiddenpips=0" too.
For the breakeven are you setting BreakEvenTargetProfit ? Mine is usually set at 5.

I discussed previously in Steve's thread about the mutiple trades opened after the first stack trade. The fix for that is on the way.

Alex
Yes I had BETP set but trade closed with a 0$ profit. I checked EA's setting afterwards and BETP was set to 10. Don't know, maybe I loaded EA with bad setting (BETP=0) and then changed, or maybe it's just better to stay away from that Jack Daniel's bottle... :?

And yes, I've read your posts about multiple trades, for now I wil set Maxstacktrades to 3, so to grant some feedback but still limiting damages. I just loaded the EA on basically every possibile pair, but I have some residual positions from old version so new action will be limited.

It immediately took two sell trades: audchf and audnzd.
(I had no previous position on those pairs because old version had SWAP filters on. New one has SWAP filters off so EA had the possibility to pull the trigger...)

It' OOTB exept for:
- Maxstacktrades=3
- stoplosspips=0 (first stop loss equal to S1/R1 or S2/R2 depending on the pair)

Second one i believe is especially important: I don't like the idea of fixed stop loss pips, I love to get (or believe to get :) ) a little edge by placing stop loss close to a reasonable support/resistance.
In fact I'm actually not satisfied even with the stoposspips=0 setting, that places stop AT S/R: I believe stop should be placed "under/above" the support/resistance, so to have a bit of margin (a little gap from the "hot zone" + some room for noise). I would use maybe a 8 to 12 pips margin, anyway it's a variable that should be tested a little bit...

Version 1.1 is on page one.

-- Fixed the issue of stack trades going nuts after the initial stack trade is entered.

-- Added an extern (setting) EnforcePriceToWeeklyOpen. If set to true, the EA checks that price is above / below weekly open before confirming uptrend or downtrend. Otherwise, it will only check slope and weekly trend and that's how I am trading it now so it is set to false. You may want to set it to true.

I should mention that in the previous version 1.0, I had commented out the code to check price in relation to weekly open when looking for trend direction. So the behaviour you were getting is as if EnforcePriceToWeeklyOpen is set to false. Now you get to decide.

Remember to set everything else as you want.

I don't have any stacking trades yet... we have to confirm when we get em' :)

Kind Regards,

Alex

hi alex,
can you update the version at the file name itself so we won't confuse which one is the latest version?
thankyou

Some bad news. Today at 5:46 the EA opened 2 identical trades (sell AUDUSD, D1 trend trade)

These are the trades opened (last post to now). In evidence the AUDUSD trade, you will see only one trade because i manually closed the other one).

EDIT: I just discovered that I had an old open BUY trade on AUDUSD, so EA was opening a SELL trade when there was an open BUY trade with the same magic number. Probably this is what caused the problem...

I got this error message probably because of wrong version. Could someone post the correct version for me?
Thank you in advance.

Definetly not!
Sorry if I put on some cofusion...

Anyway I have another doubt on this AUDCAD sell trade:
audcad.PNG
Using [slosspips=0] the EA should have placed stop loss at R1 (audcad is a type 2 pair), instead EA placed sl at R2.

Maybe R1 is "too close" so EA switch to R2? Do I miss something?
