You're welcome morepips.

The news filter is using the FFCalH indi and is currently only taking into account High impact news and news items containing "Speaks". At least nowadays low and medium news appear to be completely ignored.

You could also use the MaxSpread argument to prevent entries if spread is above your threshold. Current default is 5 pips.

For the swingONE trades reported in myfxbook, here is what I wrote a few days ago:

I mostly trade OOBT; there is no .set file.

The things which matter most are:

• position sizing, depending on the state of the market and also the state of my mind;
• chart timeframe, again depending on the state of the market.

Specifically for this morning's trades, I modified the code as follows:

1. ADX > 21, instead of the default.
2. Moving Average Length = 6, instead of 8.

And decided to take only Short positions.
