lonelytrader I too have been looking at the 4hr TF, All i have changed at this stage is extern int Lower_TF = 240; and i only use the MA Trend Settings to define the trend extern string Es0 = "-- MA Trend Settings --"; // this is used only on the daily chart so 60/240 from the 4h chart becomes 10/40 on the daily chart. extern int MA_Fast = 10; // 10=60 on 4Hr and 240 on 1Hr, this is for the MA Ribbon settings extern int MA_Slow = 40; // 40=240 on 4Hr and 960 on 1Hr, this is for the MA Ribbon settings extern int MA_MAmethod = 3; // 0 - SMA, 1 - EMA, 2 - SMMA, 3 - LWMA extern int MA_PriceMethod = 0; // 0 - Close, 1 - Open, 2 - High, 3 - Low, 4 - Median Price, 5 - Typical Price, 6 - Weighted extern bool MA_Cross = false; At this stage apart from much lower trade count I have not seen much if any profit advantage. NB 10.6 + TCO, trades taken on H4, tick mode. Switched to H1, EA off, with manual SL/TP exit discretion. Real money, 0.5% per trade, lets see.. |

Exited on round number, for GBPCHF and weak CSS, for EURGBP, although looking good for rejection off daily pivot. |

Hi yamez how are you going with TCO, i ask because after the new and improved Empty4 v:4.00 Build 600 i can not get TCO to compile there for all my trading with it has stoped. Have you found a way around this? if so could you please share how its done  as you can see i have hit a wall  thanks Les |

Yuck! My broker FX Primus ECN has not upgraded to build 6xx yet. Thanks for the heads up, to the inevitable. I'll let you know. Would love to add to TCO, Zeljko and only trade currency twice, trading times and some form of CSS. All the code is in Steve's shell and Baluda's LibCSS. I'm starting to teach myself the code and string something together. TCO took 6 cross AUD and NZD trades this week, went in my favour due to positive news, but this is not always the case, Zeljko and only trade currency twice would fix that, reducing exposure. Nice trading with it too this week. This trade taken on H4, look to H1 for exits. Some nice supporting patterns on this trade. |

FX Primus has so far spared me an Empty4 update, so TCO is still working. Just an idea. Using D1 Slope Values to filter pairs for TCO to trade on. Not as good as reading CSS over in the EDSEL thread but perhaps good for the time starved, catching trend trades. Check the values at the beginning of the day, place H1 TCO only on pairs, green and arrow up, red and arrow down. 2 trades so far this week, GBPUSD & EURUSD. |
