I would think it would be easier for a programmer to work with the concept than to hack the code anyways. the rules are clear enough and his earlier posts seemed to indicate he was working with the rules.

I did not buy Dustin's EA and steal it.. I attended his webinars, studied spreadsheets posted here by various people, used trade recoveryV0.03 posted here,and also used PDF posted here for dashboard like Dustin's EA. And USED MY 2 weeks day in and OUT with my programmer to test this and make this EA that can take into account of spreads and swaps as well. Dustin's EA do not have this functionality. So technically this is my copyright.

I hired a programmer and paid to code this because no one in this forum was volunteering to program this EA, So I went ahead and paid my programmer so anyone can benefit and use my code to add extra functionality if needed.

If you guys still think this is stealing then I think what we are discussing and making other EAs regarding ALR will also we technically stealing..( because we did not get consent from Dustin.. LOL)

If you guys decide this is stealing I would be happy to remove that Post.. reply ASAP...

I don't consider it stealing at all, Dustin is making the information on how his EA works publicly available :)

Yes you can use XYZ=0

Please test it on Demo which has decimal lots.. Majority of us has Decimal lots.. And please do your intensive checking before asking any questions..

and some great EA's to test, here's a thought because the actual lots increase on every turn of the ALR our net exposure increases on every turn with it.

What if we decrease the size of the ALR on every turn so we start with an ALR of 50 pips and when ALR is executed we decrease the ALR gap by 10,5 or whatever pips on every subsequent turn until it unwinds

Wouldn't this allow either less exposure or couldn't we also decrease the size of the lots to get to a small profit or breakeven.

Thinking out loud here.

There are a few options we can experiment with to reduce exposure. one would be to avoid increasing lot sizes as you mentioned, but this would mean a small loss instead of a small profit or breakeven. However, that may not be so bad if it allows us to increase the size of the initial trade while reducing risk. Another idea would be to close some of the earlier trades in profit as we open more turns. Testing these ideas will take some time, plus I will also be testing the existing EA's.

Feel free to pull up a spreadsheet and start doing some calculations to help out.
