In my opinion, if you can get more than 1% per day then you would be trading too big size
or you would be using too many correlated pairs.
Either way, it will only be a matter of time before the account gets in trouble

Here is my list, I took the standard circulated list and changed a few pairs.
AUDCAD,AUDNZD,AUDJPY,AUDUSD,CADCHF,CADJPY,CHFJPY,EURCAD,EURGBP,EURUSD,GBPUSD,
NZDUSD,NZDCHF,USDCAD,USDJPY
I have it running on its own and it is makes money daily but the DD is also going up and down.
It trades the 5M, 15M,1H,4H
I avoided the 1M because it generates too many trades and makes recovery harder.

So far I don't have any meaningful results to share.
After watching it for a few months, I believe correlation is important but even more important is the lot size.
In order to avoid nasty surprises we have to keep the lot size as small as possible.
I will let it run like this for a few more months.
My plan is to occasionally intervene and recover particular pairs manually.

I don't know why you would do this because 1% DD is not significant,
I would start to worry after 20%
I think it is important to try and exit the losers early but there is no need to rush too much because often the market swings back.

In my EA I have enabled symbol basket trading and I set a low TP value in there,
So when there are 5 or more losers and the market swings back in our direction, the EA will find it easier to close those particular trades.
I would use perhaps 1/4 ( or even less) of our normal TP and maybe set it to switch in after 5 trades.
