My account is in drawdown currently so I wouldn't be so quick to set 0.01 / $500 unless you want to blow up your account.

:o my setting is now similar to c1borg, using his posted setfile of $666 and 0.01, i am still on 1b, have yet to run live with 1c. Will wait a while to c how that goes and have just close $18.08 on $1288 acct from copying a $10.4k acct running demo using risk=1x (I am getting 0.02 lot, demo=0.16lot)

The pita strategy is to find a "balance" way of getting 1% dailyprofit target with still sane risk setting. The logic is that with slightly larger lotsize setting getting to 1% may be faster as balance moves upwards to next band

CASE A
0.01/$500, 1% PT (profit target) with rounding up
Balance Lotsize Profit for basket

$1000 0.02 $10
$1300 0.03 $13
$1500 0.03 $15
$1800 0.04 $18
...
CASE B
0.01/$500 1% PT with rounding down
Balance Lotsize Profit for basket
======= ====== ==============
$1000 0.02 $10
$1300 0.02 $13
$1500 0.03 $15
$1800 0.03 $18

on paper, logic said that Case A will have better chance to close the basket per target. But there is also the worry over higher dd as you are getting 0.03 on $1300 acct. Anyone with settings that hit that pita balance of risk vs profitability between the lotsize vs dollop?

Just set the TP manually untill you hit lotsize 0,10
After that it’s no issue anymore.

AwSSV3 set DD is -28% now. 0.01/1000$ :(

what is your current balance? if current balance is still $1000 then we may hv to revisit recovery options for AWSS

If current balance= (eg) $1800, as balance moves 0.01/$1000 meant that you are still having 0.01 at $1800 with the new rounding down logic (hope i am correct), and EA struggling to give you 1% dailyprofittarget of $18. Perhaps Gertje suggestion of manual TP is indeed wiser as it could be set to eg $10 for $1000-$1999.99

I believe thats why c1borg has decided to set 0.01/$500 rounding down lotsize calculation. Under this setting, @1800 it will create 0.03 which might be helpful to get to 1% profittarget.

It has no guarantee that higher lotsize=more profitable or easier to get 1% profit target. On paper it looks that way. So please share your acct settings and if possible include the balances etc pic

I am using c1borg setfile on post 1 + 1b version of the EA, today I close with $18.08 (ea has went to sleep) on my live n $113.93 (demo has $10.4k at start of trading, I have $1280+). Demo was 0.16lot using risk=1 on copier i was getting 0.02 lots. I am using "IcMarkets" demo instead of GP demo

That's why you struggle to hit the target your lot size at that level should have been 0.06 also be aware sometimes you can take an extra day to hit target but it does get there.
Remember as balance increases so must lot size to achieve your target.

nixx, try with $10k beginning balance (my demo started with that) and with 0.01/$666 as per c1borg setfile, once it begins with 0.10lot it seems to work better. If u wanted to later run against live with lesser balances u can always use a copier n set your own reasonable risk
