I seem to be so lost with these ranging markets... I went from demo making a solid 150+ pips a week and to a real account and got destroyed in my first week (well second week I didn't take any trades the first week). Just wanting to know what people do in these times when it's so dead for at least 4 weeks no there has been no pairs above or below .8/-.8 yet alone .6 (well there have been a few but very bad ones). So if anyone has any tips for lower time frames or just better ways to trade in general I would like to hear.

Also what do people think of a sell on AUDCAD, I've already entered, things look good when I entered, but as soon as I did it looked like it took a quick reversal back in the other direction.

I'm using 10.2 by the way.

That happens to me sometimes, too. No idea what causes it. It might be worthwhile revisiting NeoTrader's thread to make sure we have the latest version.

actually you should visit baludas thread to find the Pivot Indicator.. ;)

Dummy question here. NB 10x system keeps evolving. Common sense answer to which one to use would be the latest Oct 2012 I think.

Thing is AFAIK there is a lot more details in 10.2 & 10.2a than in the October 2012 version. Am I in error on that? Should I use the October 2012 version at this point?

Gday Riddermark,

I would personally suggest to learn 10.2 and then 10.2a and then 102.a October version. This way you'll understand how the system evolved.

The shortcut would be to learn 10.2 and then the October edition and skip 10.2a (they are quite similar beasts).

Either way the original 10.2 is a must read as there's a lot of juicy information in there that will benefit you as a trader. After you've learnt it all there's heaps more 10.2 goodness in here to keep you busy too ;)

Just started on the 10.2a Oct Edition thread. Sounds very logical.

Now for my dummy question:
I like Bob's screen layout here -> http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... &mode=view

Is there a set of template / indicators for this. Or do I just use the 2 indicators on this page:

Don't know if its just me, but the indicators seem to be displaying differently for me.

Don't worry about the different display. Bob has this habit of using screens that suit him, leaving the rest of us to do a translation of what he means re what we are seeing.


Doing the translation usually means we learn something.

Hi

I have been using 10.2 a few days now in demo, what can I say looking at the positive pips, great system and i will be thanking NB for it later once i get some more practice on it.

I do have a little problem that I cant figure out, went through the mg4 files, FF, this site and Google.
My monitor size needs me to de clutter as much as possible and would like to remove the large text at the top of the screen or just make it smaller, NB10.2 4H 10.0 DAILY and the S/R1 WITH PIVOT text.

The answer is probably staring me straight into the eyes and smirking but ...
