Hi NB and Team.

Thanks for an awesome indicator.

I have a question and I apologize if the question may have been asked and dealt with already.

When I put the TMA Slope indicator alongside the HGI on the chart, I noticed that some of the signals generated by the HGI are not aligned to the TMA Slope indicator. Should this be happening considering that the HGI is based on the TMA Slope indicator?

Or perhaps if NB can briefly explain the conditions that need to be met on the TMA Slope indicator for each of the eight (8) signal types to be generated by the HGI. The 8 signals being

1) wavy trend
2) wavy range
3) trend buy
4)trend sell
5) range buy
6) range sell
7) rad buy
8) rad sell

Thanks a mil!

Just read this thread, the HGI beginners thread and the pdf from the first post and you will understand the HGI better. The TMA slope calculation that the HGI uses is different from the TMA slope indicators you can find arround ,so it is normal that it can not be reproduced with an TMA slope indicator.., as HGI is not just an other TMA slope indicator...

Cheers :)

Moves from yesterday. EURJPY H4 "screams" to be closed.

However significant resistance has been broken. The Fibonacci "shark" pattern I'm ignoring since resistance has gone. Next port of call the purple line with retracements along the way. Lets see...

When it expires, you will be able to trade naked charts :yahoo:

Just joke. HGI will be released again with a new expiring date.

EURCAD H4. If you go to your Empty4 chart and zoom out you will see a large inverse head and shoulders starting back to March. I didn't notice till now.

S/R, PA around the round numbers and HGI blue wavy or trend arrow was the signal.

This is a great indicator. I have a pretty accurate system. However, like most trend following systems, it doesn't operate as effectively when the markets are ranging. This HGI indicator really shines when you aren't able to get a clear signal of where the market is going. The smaller red and green arrows help you enter trades to get a quick 20 or more pips. I find it quite nice that the bigger red and green arrows appear a few bars earlier than my current systems setup bars.

I don't mind purchasing indicators if they are useful to me. Any plans on selling this indicator without it expiring? I don't know if this has been asked already, but I'm interested in that.
