Well that is the fear. That is why Cypress is first. Tiny country practice run. See what happens.
I do not even begin to claim one iota of understanding of what is happening.

What I do understand is that the government is raiding the savings accounts of all its citizens. From a personal point of view, I hope this will lead to riots in the streets and the fall of the government.

I suspect it will. I pray it does not lead to loss of life.

We have some pretty stupid governments here in the UK. Even so, I would not expect ours to try something so suicidal. Mind, it will do us here in the UK no harm if the Cypriot government falls as a result of this - pour encourager les autres, etc

Good luck all of you in Cyprus. In 20 years this will all be a bad dream. In the meantime, all we can do is hope for the best for you. And we do, I promise.

My usual smilie signoff does not seem appropriate here.
Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.

So considering it was an interesting day. 10.4 came out fine. Letting the EA take that massive trade by the 240 cost me dearly. The rest of the day was spent digging out. I will keep trade sizes constant at 2% or less, vs letting things get huge around the 240. It seems to me that is the worst of both worlds. Most chance of being stopped out, while holding the largest position. It also randomly increases the trade size on trades that have less edge. Way too hard to manage efficiently.

The book is open. I'll try and get a few hundred trades in it. I don't mess with demo much and don't normally touch scripts and bots. So I'm sure there will be the odd screw up. But there should be a lot of by the book trades available. I may occasionally take the odd liberty with a stop, just to allow a little wiggle for a bounce off the 240. We'll see how it does. It isn't my usual style, so I will learn something, and we'll get some stats.

15/16 250 pips so far.

Hi BOB:

This req is from an Indian trading in India on an index future NSE50 (NSE_Nifty - offered by (GCI Empty4).
I have been fascinated by your systems esp so on 10.4 v5.
Y'day I observed the following:
[ DP-DMS1-960MA-DS1-DMS2-DS2]
Value wise [ 5911-5985-5983-5860-5842-5825 ] STO5 rising from 20 up & around 27
The price fell from DS1 and went until just above DS2.
I did not Short , as it was below DS1.
If the price breaches below DS2, Don't you thin it is a short candidate ?
Pls adivise.

P.s. we can't trade major intl currencies like USDCHF etc.,

@ eevra :Hi, am from U.P and used to do NSE stocks till about 20 months back and gave up and switched to Fx. I see why one can't trade the NSE scripts consistently as it's rigged by big money and unless one is part of that money, it's scary to trade it. The best I believe is trading the Indices Futures like Nifty 50, Bank, IT and options sometimes.

Edit: "as it's rigged by big money ... " big money with automation, together.

I saw another of your posts a while back trying to incorporate 10.4 with Nifty 50. I tried the setup of N50 with 10.4. This is just my opinion but I think the 10.4 has a lot of emphasis on the 240 ma line. I guess any script that is consistent with the 240 ma theory should produce results with the 10.4. It's these inconsistencies that drove me away from Indian Share Market.

Please share your views for this, probably on the PM as this is a little divergent of the current topic. EDIT : Actually it is etheldreda, Never Mind !

Cheers,

@ Fellow Traders : Great insights on the Eur situation on this thread. Please keep them coming.

Regards,

I took it from the WP... It just made a nice jump up...
I'm waiting for RSI to flat line for a while before sticking an order in. It seems a little non committal and jittery.

Anyone else with thoughts on this?
Yep, have always been. I know there's been a lot of discussion around this but I'm yet to be convinced whether one timeframe offers better signals over another. Are you also GMT +2?

I'm sure either of them gives better signals, but I'm yet to ascertain which one. I'm biased for GMT + 0.
