We've entered a world where our hypercars come as plug-in hybrids, and the 918 Spyder is the finest example yet. This is a race car that can potentially — if its 608-horsepower V8 engine is never floored — outgun the Prius on fuel economy. When driven hard, this Porsche can flash 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and send all 887 horses to the next corner of your private racetrack. Beauty, brains and frugality are all here.
And its the world fastes car on the Nürburgring Nordschleife: http://www.engadget.com/2013/09/12/pors ... er-hybrid/

One process that has helped me tremendously is to draw vertical lines on each period of the H4 and Daily CSS. From this simple step, I can monitor the change and progress of the various currencies. It is a visual tool to help me monitor the slope change....
Could this be implemented as an option in the CSS Indi? Might be easier to use.

Empty4 comes with vertical lines for daily lines on 1H chart and weekly lines on daily and 4H chart. What kind of lines do you want?

I think the Ukraine thing is now weighing down the euro currencies so eur, chf, and gbp are angling down. Unless a major story kicks up gbp will be on the bottom so look for gbp sells on all currencies. Take the eur and chf sells as they cross or angle at each other. eur/aud, eur/nzd and gbp/nzd gbp/aud look like good places to trade. If CAD, USD, or JPY angle up they would be good places to trade later in the week when they cross the euro pairs.

CAD seems to be weakening against everyone but the gbp so look for sells against it. aud/cad, nzd/cad, jpy/cad and usd/cad look for buys.

JPY has strengthened at the end of almost every month so I see no reason for that not to continue. JPY against all pairs except aud and nzd probably would work. usd/jpy would be another exception if they both go strong.

USD sitting on the weak side playing in the mud. maybe go up, maybe go down, maybe do nothing, Idont know right now. WIll sit it out for now until it makes up its mind. I think it wants to go up but those constant slightly bad news reports have kept it down.

Anyway, I took a break from my work, now I need to get back to my paperwork. Have a great weekend. :hi:
GBP as predicted went to the bottom and gbp sells were pretty good especially the first 3 days. The one surprise was the gbp/jpy and gbp/usd which ran against the current all week and rose. With the cross coming up gbp/chf buy was a nice trade and we adjusted to that in the middle of the week when I posted that one.

EUR,CHF began weakening with the euro taking a nice dive on several pairs. Got some nice pips on those runs. Surprisingly eur/jpy went strong. This is what I said and you can see the fall in these pairs.

The CAD was not a good call for weakening but it did on the aud. It was quite fiesty strengthening big time against the eur, usd, jpy, and gbp. So good to see the Canadians getting back.

JPY was a shocker weakening across the board. Most of that was caused by everyone in Japan almost daily yelling we are going to weaken more, we are going to weaken more, and traders did that. The aud/jpy and nzd/jpy did weaken though.

USD aud and nzd took it to town especially the aud and the cad had a nice run that I missed. Overall it was tough on the CSS but we seem to be moving out of the FEB, MARCH range time and April looks exciting.

aud and nzd are still on top and until something knocks them off they will probably stay there for now. The euro currencies are all down. USD and JPY are in the middle but that should change with JPY bond sales starting Monday. I dont see anything challenging them for the top spots this week so look for continued strength. Maybe the CAD will join them.

USD is a currency looking for good news but until it gets it, it will stay in the middle of the pack. So some buys and some sells mixed.

JPY every official in Japan is screaming go down go down go down. They have their big tax hike going into play and they want JPY to weaken so they dont get a double whammy of tax induced slowing economy and increase of JPY value. Dont be surprised if JPY continues its dive and April could be a good month for that. The BOJ probably will do anything it can to weaken the JPY.

eur and chf are heading for the bottom so looking to sell those. gbp is crossing up so gbp/chf buy and eur/gbp sells should be good.

The gbp may recover some this week but it is still just turning the corner on being the lowest. It should still lose ground against the cad, aud, and nzd. Strengthen against eur chf and jpy. Probably ranges against the USD.

Anyway here is the CSS chart and the UKRAINE elephant is still in the room.

Thank you so much for sharing this system with us! I am looking forward to your next book. I see that my CSS readings and yours are a little different - not sure if it makes much difference....but the eur is on the bottom in yours...

CSS depends much from the broker you use, so it could be caused by using an other broker, too a point is what pairs you have set to be weighted..are you using the same 24 pairs like bob ?

Cheers :)

A massive thanks to Bob, Boldtrader & Alorente especially for all the contributions. :yahoo: and I echo the comments of Pedigree above to any new traders that have been fortunate to find this thread will indeed save a truck load of pain and hardship!

Due to my commitments in developing BASA for the 2nd half of last year it wasn't until November that I finally had time to try my hand at Bob's 10.6. Trading demo I have just doubled my account in 5 months....starting at $5000 it is now $10006 and whilst it's only demo it has definitely been a fantastic learning journey and shows what is possible :yahoo:

At the beginning of December I started to cherry pick 10.6 trades off my demo and take them on my live account as well...since then I have consistently made in excess of 10% per month on my live account trading 10.6
I wonder what would happen if you turned BASA on in your cherry picked trades?

I am using I B F X US, but I didn't filter out the pairs - which is probably the difference....

To be honest, the only thing I need from 240 and 60 LWMA when using TMA bands is to know the level where they are (just to be ready for the dummie lights changes) and a little slope to see towards where they are moving. So I have muted them letting only visible the ending point. Very useful also in lower timeframes as is a MTF moving average.
Thank you for this great idea Zen.

As it is, the entire MA is loaded even if you make only buffer2 visible. Wouldn't it be better to give buffer1 a maxbars option so you can just set it to 0 if you don't want it. That way, it's not loaded at all and there's a lot less processing for the CPU. Please consider.
