The Nikkei fell 5% overnight, 10% off recent peak.

Is this the end of the correction ?

Next in line for correction - the Dow and FTSE ?

Despite sometimes failing to set sl and tp, the ea has consistently triggered the trades correctly. I am using Steve's MPTM to manage the trades at the moment, and it has worked quite well. The following demo is trading H4 with 240ma and stoch filter on 10k account, trading 0.5 lots.

Profit over 9%. No DD.

Still hoping some coder will come forward to improve the ea.

All the nice profits got wiped out in an instant at 1.30 pm after the release of us unemployment claims. So, the lesson learned from this is to close all dollar related trades before any high impact news as with any normal trading.

Leaving the trades open is like playing lottery. If the news go your way, you make a pile. If it goes against you, you lose a pile!

This is the reason why most ea's failed, you cannot expect the ea to react to any fundamental news. There is no such thing as set and forget ea.

Select trade RSI and CSS = TRUE.

Because of CSS filter, you are unlikely to get many trades, but the filter is likely to reduce the DD.

Hardly any trades with the H1 CSS FILTER.

I am now trying with M30 CSS filter instead. Earlier entry, expect more false entries.

The Dow plunged over 200 points in the last four hours of trading.

FINALLY !

A 5 - 10 % correction is now on the cards.

The Dow Jones has broken thru support at 15,152.

Next support is near 14930.

Recent strong economic data and rising home prices point towards a recovery in the US, prompting speculation that the FED may soon taper its QE.

Any sniff of the FED tapering its stimulus soon is enough to spur stock investors scrambling towards the exit.

NOBODY WANTS TO BE THE LAST ONE TO GET OUT.

I think the bull run in the stock market is still intact. Expect to see a 5 to10% correction, then buy again from support.

H4 CHARTS FOR THE THREE AMIGOS.

The pound and the aussie are more clear cut. Both below 240ma and are in a down trend. So, I am looking for a retracement to resistance zone, close below R zone, then set pending order a few pips below the low of the closed candle.

The euro is more complex. It is crossing back above 240ma, and appears to be bouncing off support(the aqua line). Stochs is < 20, so likely to move higher to the resistance zone, then reverse.

Forex is so unpredictable. Be interesting to see what happens this coming week.

For the past few weeks, the most predictable pairs are AUDUSD and AUDCHF, retrace up to resistance, then sell off. So long as the Chinese economy continues to falter, the aussie will be bearish. So will the kiwi as well. Both have fallen quite a bit and are likely to consolidate for a while. But I will continue to sell from resistance until the trend changes.

Looking at the three charts, you will begin to understand why trading the SR ZONES and stochastics on H4 tf works, particularly if you buy above 240ma and sell below. That is the gist of how my proposed ea works.

So far, even with the basement level coding, my demo has been profitable. With further enhancements, it has enormous potential.

The method is so simple and does not involve 101 indicators either. And I am even using the method to trade the Dow Jones and Gold, no sweat !

The market is now open. I have a pending buy on EURJPY and GBPJPY on H4 tf. Half lot size for GJ because it is CT. Both stochs below 20.

PROS : BOJ bond purchase in the first 10 days of the month should weaken the yen.

CONS : if the stock market correction continues, the yen will strengthen.
