Hi Mike, thanks for the last version. The new Version is doing what it should except one thing. When CtC takes trades it seems that it only takes every second candle for a trade. But it should take a trade EVERY time when there is a new candle in direction of the previous candle no matter if theres already an existing trade or not. See attached screenshot. I marked the situations where CtC should have taken trades too. Can u have a look at this ? Thanks in Advance, Tex |

I do have a question when trading this EA on renko bars. I am using the Renko assist script however I have to re-apply it when ever Empty4 has to restart... Is it possible to incorporate the Renkoassist script directly into these EA's/ Or can the script be made into an indicator so it is saved when I create a new template? There has been a recent revival in interest in Heiken Ashi candles, inspired by Zen's thread 10.5 for monkeys. I have attempted to add the daily pivot cross to Magft's original ea. Needly to say, DO NOT TRADE THIS ON A LIVE ACCOUNT. Cheers, peter |

The UseTrendMA(240LWMA) and usePivotCross has been enabled by default, and UseStoch disabled, as suggested by Zen. The ea is meant to run on H4 time frame. The useMaTrend is the two ma trend (Slowkey). It is rather confusing, should be set to false by default. To avoid confusion, I have changed it to TwoMaTrend. |

I have just noticed there was an update to the original ea a few posts back, have transferred the daily pivot cross code to the new template. Hence, v.3.0. My apologies to Magft for not asking his permission first to modify his original ea. HEALTH WARNING : DO NOT TRADE THIS ON A LIVE ACCOUNT. |

Hi, Peter Thank you for this. I really appreciate it. I´m just starting a demo right now. (Later I´ll post the myfxbook link) This system, in fact, should be played by an EA. Maybe it demands too much patience and discipline for manual trading. I set a 4th 'don´t trade rule' yesterday after same backtests (the porcupine and the arrow). Very hard to code it, I fear. Same for rule 3. Rule 1, "don´t enter beyond 400 pips from 240 LWMA" seems, however, easy to add. Slipshod´s LIBSSSRv3 could make possible to apply rule 2 for a later conservative version of the EA. Anyway, this 'no airbag' version is already great news for me, and I can´t wait starting the tests. Of course, not trying to interfere with the original EA. I need to understand first how it works 'ChangeThe color'. I saw the use of a close moving average in combination with Heiken Ashi in Trade made simple and Genesis FF threads. I´ll be testing boths EAs, the original, and the daily pivot one. Cheers. |

Hi Zen. I mentioned that I "attempted" to add the daily pivot cross" code to the original ea, not sure if it will work. There are many excellent coders in Steve's forum, I am sure they will chip in if it doesn't. I was waiting for someone to code 10.5 for monkeys. As there was none forthcoming yet, and this thread has gone dormant for a little while, thought I might hijack Steve's daily pivot code from Pivoty Slope and have a go at it. Sorry Steve  |
