it will only set the first 9 hours of the market in a week a zone, thats why it is called MondayBreakout  so you have to wait for next week But you can try http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... f=5&t=3494 which is a fork from the MondayBrreakout EA, but this one opens only 1 trade, but calculates every day new zones.. Hi all :hi: here comes an improved update of the Monday Breakout Zone EA, fixed the entry problem that the EA opened trades after a zone was broken and the first entry was about the spread filter or soem other filter not taken and the price retraces, what for the strategy was not intended. Fixed the problem that the EA after a part close TP using the SR Zone rule, did not move the SL. New the EA uses the H4 60 MA as trendfilter as this gives better results. To there is fixed an issue with the right calculation of the distance to the next support zone (in sell trades), fixed thanks to an observation of Adrian @basch312 here http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 560#p90560 in this part analog coded AsiaPacificBreakoutEA. Hi all :hi: as many of you had always had problems with the advertised spread setting, I recoded this part of the EA, new the EA calculates the advertised spread automatic, so it should be much easier to use .. If you want too the original strategy updated to the new automatic advertised spread setting let me know

This was embedded for backendtest case with GlobalPrime as they changed last year from GMT to GMT(+2/+3) so the EA knows in backendtest if there is a sundaycandle or not.., but good spot I will change this in a further update to a more elegant solution.. Cheers Tommaso |

Blessings & Thanks to you both (Here) Phil_Trade & Milanese (Tommaso). Often wondered how it is persons unconnected, in different places, linked only by the same interest arrive at the same points in thoughts/ ideas albeit from different angles at times. This is a case in point, as made/ noted some alarmingly consistent behaviors sparked by the Once-A Day, Week and the interesting variations emerging thereon, with the aid of contributors such as Dudest, AnotherBrian, Radar comes readily to mind as well. We have to ensure we are persistent, thereby avoiding the malady which overtook "Uncle & Derby" in that they abandoned their previously profitable gold mine, only to discover, after selling it, that the vein (of Gold) resumed just 3 feet or so, from where the stopped digging...Hit! (one should suffice  )For me, these ideas (Once-A-.. D1, W1, MN) were convergence upon the break from the Monday candle and so I arrived here, indirectly, driven by the need to get to the latest MPTM, bearing Candlestick trailing option for profit protection. This was met, having seen an offering by Milanese today. I am of the opinion that with additional options to money and trade management, in any or all of these listed offerings, the Gold will resume, flowing where it has stooped. Specifically, the idea of having the option to Specify how much to Risk in Dollars, per entry, offers one such door. The markets and their makers understand Pips (since, they print the candles  ). Whereas, most, such as myself, understand are only fully conversant with Dollars (only.. almost  ). How much am I loosing or stand to lose  ?? That immediately sparks the risk management mode needed to keep the nuggets we have managed to capture thus far  .It would be great to see the interest returned here  , coupled with the activity over on the other Once-A- Sometime threads (Above) and see if at least some of us can rediscover our shaft of Gold  .Thanks to you all ... Sir Hopwood, Tommaso, Radar Et al, kindly accept our heartfelt gratitude for your selfless and invaluable contributions to this Family.
