We call that Island to the West of us Australia, lol. Across the ditch in other words.

AKA: The West Island ;)

Hi Bob, hope everything is ok with you and your family.

This CSS is really awesome, I was thinking about using it on H1 timeframe to catch 10 pips on each trade. What do you think I should have in consideration on using it like that? I would use the H1 TF on CSS too...

Thanks a lot.

Hi
IMHO it is a very bad idea to use it for H1. You are better off using the daily CSS for direction and using BOB`s latest 10.9 VER4 for 1H trading. You can find it here http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... &start=860
Kind regards

I have backtested it and live trading for 3 days now. Sure, 3 days is nothing, but I have made more in this period than from last month. I believe there is potential when combined with other things (avoid news, respect S/R, go with trend, etc.)

Just wanted to know Bob thoughts about it, because I am really excited with this...

One of the things I experimented with was trading the 4H chart but using the 15M CSS crosses in the same direction as the daily. It seems to work well but I am having trouble trading right now. Cowboy IBFX is basically closed for trading for me and I havent picked a new broker yet. My new job doesnt fit well for trading and I am trying to decide what I want to do next. Oanda, CitiForex ................ hmmmmmmmmm.

Hi Bob

I looked at CITI some time ago and it seems it is geared to the needs of the larger trader. Although their minimum is $10K, in reality the main perks are reserved for $50+ clients. Mind you for US citizens it has the added benefit of hedging. Oanda`s advantage is trading NANO lots and they have been around for many years. Mind you they seem to have slipped in forexpeacearmy reviewss // ranking. I have decided to give fxcm another go and see how it goes. Five/six years ago they were the kings of re-quotes and EOD adjustments. They were using Boston technologies bridge at the time and since abandoning that they have improved.

IMHO you should avoid, cyprus, Eastern Europe, etc, and stick with a regulated firm in the UK or USA. For example the FCA just recently fined FXCM and forced them to compensate the customers affected. My compensation was only £8.00 but at least it shows that someone is watching them if they misbehave.

GOOD LUCK

I tried several years ago FXCM but I couldnt get entrances. Just requotes. After two days of that I was done. Have no interest in them at all. I have the funds for CITI if I dont buy a house. My wife is going back to the USA to start looking. We will move back to Florida or near my son in California. I am thinking of just taking a break from trading, writing, in fact thinking in general. Cowboy IBFX bummed me out when I couldnt multi level trade and it seems trading wise the last several weeks I just dont feel like it. I have not ever been that in my 7+ years of trading. Probably I need an extended break. I closed my Cowboy IBFX account and the sale of my school, I am debt free and can pay cash for an inexpensive house. I may do that and start all over again. To think after 7 years of trading I could have a paid off house and no debt is very appealing to me right now. Go back to the USA and start over with 1000 dollars again and see where I go with it this time. My goal would be to pay cash for possibly my last car. Anyway those are my thoughts. I dont think there is that much more I can contribute to Forex. 10.7 with CSS works. What more could there be to contribute but wait for Steve to produce the perfect EA. Then I would never have to think again. :)
