Fractalated Bob

Awesome results! I haven't given up on the 15min. I am testing both the 15min and 1hr but its still to soon to say which one is better.

I've just started using FB and read through the thread twice and haven't been able to find an answer to this question: For us traders limited to US brokers only with FIFO restrictions, do we have to set the MaxTrades = 1 or will this bot (or MPTM) close out older trades first and then followed by newer trades so that we don't violate FIFO? Also, any research/statistics on lot size to use for a $10k account if I want to go with the OOTB 2% global close settings? According to the first post, looks like Steve is using 0.01 per $500 @ 2% close, anyone tried other settings and results?

Yep ... my two FB's (s. below link to the portfolio) go with 3k / 0.01 lot and basket TP 1% only .... :hi: Great bot ... indeed ! (31 pairs with Global Prime)

I want to go with the OOTB 2% global I'm using ".01 per 100usd per chart" trading just 4 pairs + using 2% Basket ClassALL, all on 400usd acct. For simplicity purposes when planning to trade 5 pairs on 5000usd acct my advice "Lot" = 0.1 per chart.

That is entirely governed by the broker and EA's have no control over their behaviour. My limited understanding is that there are US brokers who get around this by treating all the trades as a single entity and so are able to close portions of the entity in the order the trader wants; there is some nifty software that manages all this. Can't give you any details, though. Perhaps others here can?

Brilliant week of live trading: usdchfdaily.png That basket from last night that held the disastrous GU sell eventually closed at my target profit. Nice to see that GU finished the week at only -67 despite the disastrous one shelling -193. This makes +689 for the two weeks; I can live with that. I left FB trading after the basket closed and returned home to another mightily in profit - and slightly inflated because mptm was claiming over and over again that the basket should be closing, but wasn't. Best keep an eye on that as mptm did not behave as it should. Is anyone using Paul's mpbm to manage their trades as a basket? An especially pleasing aspect of today was the way FB stayed out of markets that were retracing after a big move in one direction. Those fractals never quite lining up kept me out of trading into a retrace. Onwards and upwards guys. Have fun next week.

Steve - I had this happening too. The new Empty4 builds seem to turn off the "Allow live trading" on the common tab of some EA's and not others when you do "something" - I haven't worked out what the hell that is yet though I suspect if you check this on MPTM you might find it's the issue.
