Hi Steve,

I am a little confused about this development. Tommaso went out of his way to make the HGI indicator not repaint, so that once loaded, signals for previous candles would not be updated. By reloading the charts and HGI we are getting new/updated signals. If we desire to have updated signals, wouldn't it be easier to use the HGI library, instead of reloading the chart/indicator every n minutes?

Yes I close manually fairly often. I have some personal beliefs that many will think crazy. I think every week is unique and the the Market usually has no real direction until Tuesday around 1400 GMT. So, if I have a big Sunday/Monday odds are 90% I'll close them all and sit out till Tuesday, well after the London or NY open. Late Tuesday thru early Thursday, I'll let it do whatever it wants. Toward the end of the week (thurs onward) I'll close the stagnant trades and chase the stops on the others. Anytime that I sit down and say WOW...that's a lot of gain! (for me that's 1000-1200 bucks) I'll sit there and watch it...without fail, it starts dropping- Close, Close, Close! I've recently dropped two pairs that I would have thought should be good performers; GU and GJ. I've added USD/DKK and WTIcrude (oil) both have been good performers so far.

Here is what I am thinking. We have a demo account that we use for HGB. There is a little manager on the demo that places a 'don't trade yet guys' Global Variable on our real trading platform. Once the demo account has gone into DD by x pips, the manager sends the trading account a Global that says, 'up and at them tigers cos the retrace has happened.' Then, when the demo has made its usual profit run of 1000 pips it replaces the 'don't trade yet guys' back on the trading platform.

So far as I know, EA's can only read/write files from and to specified folders in the installation folder, so we need a way of getting the messages from the demo platform to the trading platform.
