Captain - All; I happened to be watching GPBCHF as well. Studding your chart I noticed some alarming differences, I assume due to Broker and/or the NY close. Have a look at the first Pin Bar high; yours has a small body well below the wick of the preceding bar which is a small bar preceded by a large bull bar, My chart combines the pin bar with the preceding bar. The second Pin Bar High; yours is a bear candle preceded by a large bull candle, mine is a bull candle preceded by a small bear candle! The next sequence of 7 bars is completely different on my chart. Bars following the second Pin Bar high on yours; bars 2-3 are doji type with 4-5 having lower highs and lower lows, bar 6 a bear bar with lower low, small body closing low and tall upper wick followed by 7 with longer upper wick (your small circle) Bars following the second Pin Bar high on mine are backwards; Bars 4-5-6-7 have long lower wicks! The 5th bar on my chart is, by definition, a perfect pin bar down. My 7th bar is a bear bar with almost no upper wick and a very long lower wick! Several major bars between the two Pin bars High are also completely different. I actually hope I am making a mistake and hope someone points it out, else this issues needs sorting out. Thx for the input, you are absolutely right, like i mentioned, i misread the levels, thought it was on L3 when it was actually at L2. Other than thinking its at L3, CADJPY was near peak high so i was looking for a retrace to peak high before going down, didnt really wait for that retrace when i entered, so yes i was expecting some DD while the fox builds up the momentum to bring everything crashing down same thing for usdjpy *Note to all, CAD and USDJPY are not the ideal trade situation, look for the M that forms after a peak high and trade that, not enter way before hoping for a good deal |

Nothing new really 1. Each broker has a different feed, don't expect to see the same chart unless you happen to be using the same broker 2. H4 is tricky this way, again each broker decides which GMT they start, so a GMT+0 and a GMT+2 broker will show completely different H4 charts due to the GMT difference Either way, you should be short bias if PA goes back to the high pin areas |

Xrismak, Good to hear from you again, I was wondering how you were getting on. Congratulations!!! It's encouraging to see such progress. I am profitable with CJ's methods but I am still exiting way to early (struggling to shake off my scalping nature), I definitely need to hold on longer as you have  Work continues!!! Congratulations! It almost seems too easy doesn't it?? Moving up from the 15M to the higher time frame trades are less stressful. As you have found, you have plenty of time, no need to rush a trade. Again, everybody needs to trade in a way that's comfortable to them and within their means. It's always good to see some great big numbers, unless they are going the wrong way! I too have become much more patient waiting for profit targets. Paid off big time today with the GBP/USD. I will tell you that it has not been easy but once mastered will serve you well going forward. Also I place trades with confidence, wait for the right set ups, and trade larger lots that really pay off. I have said this before; I can barely look at charts with indicators. They draw my focus from what's important, PA. As always I have to thank CJ for sharing his knowledge and thanks also to everyone that contributes to this thread. Have a nice evening!! |

Anybody else notice a change in the Empty4 platform today? I lost my entire setup, profile, whatever you want to call it...and there is a new feature for closing trades - a little "x" in the Profit box.... Lost a lot of charts that I had marked up with "stuff".... it's ok, I can set it all back up again...thanks Metaquotes.... you rock!  Guess that's one way of screwing me over... but not for long! Well this is what I notice on AUDUSD 1hr. Sure sucks on the west coast of North America time wise all I get after work till bedtime is the bluddy Asian session. So I'm considering a buy limit near bottom of that pin with a stop below the last low. As far as I can tell this last push down looks like a level3 on daily which also looks like the lower SL hunt before the move up, we have a pennant on monthly/weekly with a, surprisingly, large increase of tick volume on those charts. If this is all rubbish please let me know and I will delete this post...  Chris I have now gone ahead and set the limit and sl as noted above. Time for bed now... |

You might want to *see* that pin before committing anything.. i forecasted pins yesterday.. it went horribly wrong when i woke up, i don't want the same thing to happen to you  *edit Chris.. Hope you had a tight SL.. |
