Secretbob 1H trend on 30m charts, cheap spread pairs FXCM: EURUSD/USDJPY/AUDUSD/NZDUSD

Unfortunately I set it at 1% risk per trade which is too high... but I don't really want to reset the demo again as it's started now.

Settings attached; part close, 1min max interval, 1%

Hi jago, i change setting inside the code.
My setting are H4 timeframe, and unreachable TP/SL, without MA setting, and just let the indi do his job then you will get similar result :party: :party:

Make sure you tested on Demo before running live.

Ok ... so far so good ... lets see what the next week will bring ... ;)

So far I see a high DD ... hmmm ... AND (even more important imo): a big big gap between balance and equity - not closing this gap means trading with a bot/setfile like this one causes trouble. Trading without real wins makes no sense ... right ? :)

I have read some past record with bob indi, some retrace will happen after 2-3 weeks trend and close up the trade, maybe my demo account balance are too small for the gap(just like jpy pairs now), but i love to see if it can survive in this small account instead of bigger account.

Just my thought.. maybe i was wrong :arrrg:, but no harm in testing it

@ace81, your Drawdowns are really heavy, i hope your SB is able to recover from that (with that DD, my Account would be blown already)

Mine didn't do very well last week because of the strong JPY move on Friday, but still was positive with about 2%.
Let's see what this week will bring :)

I will post my setup when i found ideal setups for me, at the moment i am testing a lot with different settings (such as pair specific TP and SL settings instead of "always in", different breakeven settings, and so on).

Best thing you could do for yourself is to let it run OOTB for a while, and then analyse how it could have performed better. I did so for a few hundred trades, built up an excel sheet and played through many scenarios to find good settings.

The EA ran on full auto most of the time, but sometimes i changed some TPs or SLs on individual trades (because of some gut feelings mostly).
