Bazze thanks for the MPTM set file I am using it and it works great for me..

You will notice that thursday was a losing day.... well not always but usually it is a pullback or reversal day so care should be taken when trading on thursdays...price usually moves back into the existing trend on fridays. I always use the weekly open to gauge whether price is above or below the weekly open. Price normally moves in the direction of the weekly trend on a friday afternoon at new York open.....so this is the time I like to activate my Ea. Once again these are probabilities and not always the case..

I have incorporated a bit of Trader Joe's trade trigger parameters by using the 6 and 12 ma and 4 hr time frame as the trigger, this, from my observations seems to take care of the noise and the pullbacks that you get on the smaller time frames. the other inputs basically one ma change and now I am using currency strength check on the 5, 15 min and 4hr and daily (4 signals required). don't fall over when you see my "look back in minutes" ...I will play with this next week...will most likely change the "time in seconds between trades" towards Trader Joe's inputs.

............thinking about this overnight here is a non repainting template and EA settings using the Linear Weighted Moving Average instead of TMA which may be more useful when looking visually at the template. There shouldn't be too much in it using the slope of the linear weighted MA rather than TMA cross and at least the chart will match where trades were taken when looking back. We can use the MTF_TMATrue indi to show the higher period linear weighted MA slopes and on chart just the 6 and 12 linear weighted MA for the trade trigger cross.

Here's a couple of daily charts from last week with 7 and 14 period LWMA and their slopes. In both cases taking profit at the weekly support/resistance2 would have been best and at that point we wouldn't want to enter another trade on these pairs for the rest of the week. (this was hit on Monday with EURAUD!) The "time between trades" is an important part of this EA and the lower the timeframe the trickier it may be to get this setting right. Perhaps a minimum of one week on D1 (604800 seconds!), one day on H4 and four hours on H1 would be about right? If peeps are looking to use this EA without much manual intervention it is crucial that careful thought is given into getting this setting right for the time frame and MA settings being used as well as the SL settings for a trade manager otherwise you know what they say ".. the trend is your friend until the end" . Additionally what about a setting for TP that uses choice of either the next daily or weekly support/resistance/pivot .. ? Food for thought

" close trades" is set to false so "close unprofitable trades" are not applicable in this instance.....I am not using the trade management function with Mad..........

With my MPTM global set file I use partial close starting at 50% and since my broker minimum is 0.1 that means minimum full trade size for me is 0.2. Obviously you can configure this yourself based on your own requirements.. and for peeps just starting out don't even think about more than 0.01 on demo so that your profit expectations are in the right ball park when you go live.
