I think it was the TMA slope dashboard i was trying to use. The indicator wasnt the problem.
Guess i need to find one that works. Sorry for the confusion.

Pocketair, I think that you should focus on Nanningbob 10.3 which is the most recent system that is supposed to have the strength of 10.2 while being adapted with ranging markets

I suggest you read the last 10.3 manual made by Bob. Here it is

Added Open weekly Green UT, Red DT for the week. Shows the relationship between price and the 2MA open on the weekly candle.

Where do I find the above weekly open indicator for the 10.2 daily main screen?

I seem to have got in a bit of a mess, I read the 10.3 docs and downloaded all the indi's etc but then it says about the updates (1.8), I am not sure what I was supposed to have deleted/replaced the updated stuff with, This is what I have in my experts folder at the moment, (I am pretty sure this isn't correct). Thanks and sorry for the dumb question

Hey everyone!

I'm new to the forum and to NanningBob's system too, and I must admit I'm quite impressed after reading through the docs. One thing I can't seem to get working is this weekly open indicator, the one that should reset itself every week.

It's ofc the one with the orange and blue bars and as far as I understood from the manual it shouldn't at all look like the one on my charts (see attached file).

Any help and advice is appreciated very much, thanks! :oops:

What does Bob mean when he says "Set the pivots"?

He mentions it all the time, but I'm not sure what he's referring to. Is he saying to adjust the GMT offset? To load an EA?

Rules are simple set the pivot lines 1 hour before a session opens. Take any trades inside the box going back towards the open. In other words a typical 10.3 trade. Place a pending trade above/below the daily open line (light or white colored line) Set you MPTM to +100 -20 or set the SL and TP with the pending trade. If trade is not taken in first 2 or 3 hours in the session. Clean the slate and wait until the next session.

In simple terms (and I hope I don’t embarrass myself here) the DO & DP are based on the brokers start of day.

Baluda (Paul) has created an indi that allows you to change when you want the start of day position to be, and in Bob’s threads he’s looking at setting at start of JPY session, then as we near EURO he resets it to an hour before EURO open, and as we near US he resets it to an hour before US open.

See thread below for Baluda’s indi & description etc.

Simply download, compile & use the indi and have a play with the following settings:
•s hiftDayChange = set to true toshift the day change for DO and DP to the hour of choice, false uses the b*rokers day
• hoursFromGMT - number of hours to shift the day change to, defaults to 2 (GMT+2)

– it should now become obvious – simply refer back to Bob’s10.3 scalper posts with pics earlier today
