Hi Bobby.

As stated in the documentation, UBD appends 1,2,3,4 to the signal name to identify the 4 different timeframes. This is an UBD thingy.

In TDesk's lists you must enter whatever is sent to TDesk. You can always check the detected signals by clicking the "Detected" button at the top. TDI-P1/H4 (with slash, without quotes) will be correct.

Strange situation with CADJPY positions

First was opened at 12:00:04 and at first takeprofit was part closed (half of position) at 12:12:41,
then at 12:14:47 new position was added, although old position is still on market.

I know the problem with comments, I avoid it with some reworked code (StringFind != -1), but as I think Desky doesn't count orders by tradecomment, I don't use hedge and countertrend etc?

Any thoughts?

I've been away for a long time but have been sucked back into Forex.

I'm trying to set up Desky to trade signals using Thomas's SPB template posted recently. Thought I had it all good to go, but when i set Desky up, it immediately took three trades GJ, GU and EJ which clearly hadn't sent a signal. I closed the trades and it immediately opened new ones. I have attached a screenshot which shows solo trade entry is 100, yet as you can see for the three pairs none of these are 100?

Its likely a very simple mistake on my part as I try to catch up on all the wonderful things happening here.

That might be old signals that have not yet reached the exit threshold. I can't tell without seeing the Super Signal column. What you can do is to exit TDesk, run the "TDesk Global Variables Cleaner" script and then start TDesk again.

TDesk Scalping at H1.
Enter: EAX Pin Anglegator.
SL 15, TP 25.
Is it possible to use the HGI (wavy lines) indicator only for the exit (so it does not affect the input signal)?
In other words, how to use one indicator only for enter, and another indicator only for exit?

Hey Vokin,

Put your HGI signals on the ExcludefromSoloSignals list and on the ForceExitOnDisagree list. Then set Desky ForceCloseOnExitSignal to true.

You can find the exact way of the signals names under Detected right at the top of TDesk.

Thanks, but cannot find ForceCloseOnExitSignal - or you mean TDesk Trading Partner closeOpenOnEXITSignal (this I have True)?

Hi

Question regarding custom indicators which have no input parameters - what do I put in "TDesk UBD Custom Parameters.mq4" file in the "#define Params_2 0,0,0" section?

For Built-In indicators there is an explanation on what to do in case of no input params, but what about custom indicators?

Can we just leave values blank, as in:

#define Params_1 50,5.0 // SuperTrend_15
#define Params_2           // some custom indi which has no inputs
?

PS: found the answer - if you put "true" as a single parameter, the parameter-less indicator works
