Here is were CJ and others input would be great. Your L1 I see as horse by the fox I just don't see the pushes in your level one. I see your level 2 as my level one which means you are at level 3 expecting it to go up, while I am at level 2 thinking it will continue down. Any input from others here I would appreciate. 15 min chart is great so at least a scalp or 50 pip up I would think.

Hey intcust dont take my word for it , I see they have longs and shorts trapped here at this level accumulation , maybe the W on the 4 hr is a fake , I thought the 1st drop from the peak high was level 1
maybe i`m wrong

Thanks CJ , I have heard that they dont even know which way price is going to go until they change shifts and what way the positions are built up , more shorts trapped than longs then they take out the shorts , and vise-versa,tomorrow will be interesting.

In any event we need to trade what we see. looks like a W has formed is it level three or stop hunt. Well it is defiantly a stop hunt. Based on CJ's chart I am thinking he agrees that it is level 3 as well. Friday will defiantly be interesting. I still think level 2 but what do I know I am always wrong. Probably a good time to take profit if one was in a sell and look for a good entry either way. Nice pin bar failure to break s r levels and all the other things one need to look for. Thanks for your input CJ and seanyd

peranders wrote:I sat yesterday and was not finding any good trades, spreads have been higher and liqudity less than average this week. So I switched to naked charts looking at PA. I figured most of the short term moves was already raked in with the trend
(200 or 240 MA), the most interesting trade I found was this setup pitting the two weakest pairs against eachother. Pair is also wedging. The shorts I took was due to my interpetation of the charts posted, might be that it could be moving further down, but foxes loves 100s, 750s, 250s and 500s and 000s.

Have to get out before friday though Kuroda will make some sort of statment to depress the JPY after they got green light from G7.
And here is the completed M, anoyone else took this trade? Anyway time to get out, statment coming to depress JPY.

Original trade charts on pg. 275.

I think your right but we are at the end of a big 3 level move which started from the 2nd April. So I would be inclined to see more manipulation at the top and a larger M printed.

Just my opinion.
Looks like this might be a good entry to short. I will place a trade in my demo account. You may want to wait till price actually starts to fall before getting in. Or you may want to wait and get in for a higher price (if it does go higher that is) and then use a smaller stop loss.

Trade at your own risk, my opinions are just that. Price may continue to bounce around up here before falling. Or I might be wrong and it wont fall at all.
Looks like price decided to go up and test January's highs, which I should have saw coming to be honest. Also level 1was 350 pips level 2 was 280 pips and level 3 when I entered the above short was only around 200 pips which should have been a big clue. Its now at 380 pips and breached january highs, have reentered at high. Probably best to wait for the M to print.

I'm working on my rules for the level identification. Where Push 1 of level 3 was clear, I got sucked into 3-4 days of rising price and not 3 days of full adr price movement. Live and learn.

ADR is Average Daily Range. You can download it as an indi (but don't bother). It does not include gaps. ATR in forex is built in to Empty4 and what gets used most often. It does include gaps, but as forex is 24H we only need to consider weekend gaps (on some platforms even those don't exist).

If there is an advantage to ADR in forex I have yet to see it. They are often interchanged on forums. CJ is just looking at ATR x3. for an estimate of the 3 day move... not complex math and measuring. In this case the ADR is used to denote we are using the 'DAILY' ATR value not the indicator.

Hit investopedia for adr vs. atr... but with Empty4 people often say ADR when they mean daily atr.

Will be interesting to see where price will go within the next 12 trading hours. The downtrend and the previously LH line will cross. What has more power? The downtrend or the resistance line? What do you think? The fox will play with those 'zones of interest'. I know but in a view hours there will be no room....
I wish i could see the fox move.

great weekend to you all

Very good point Kwanann makes here - once the fox has a profitable position he needs to liquidate it to realise profits - that means finds buyers in a downtrend when he has profitable shorts, and sellers in an uptrend when he has profitable longs. It's also the reason why level 3 is so choppy - after the moves unwinding positions may make or require a lengthy choppy trading range to unwind or reload...

But why did you think buyers down there at 1.28? Big Round Number? Or something on the left of the chart we can see?
