Thanks Gertje & spotdespot for CSS clarification

Post by AnGri »

Hi Gertjan and Dave,

thanks for sending me in the right direction regarding CSS settings and reads.

Seems i was too much thinking in pairs to grasp how CSS works.

I found no "Thanks-Button" with / in the posts, so i posted this to express my appreciation ... :)
May the Pips be with You :!:

jpy eur chf on the bottom
aud on top
nzd cad running for 2nd place
gbp usd hiding in the middle

I will be interested to see if the AUD will continue its run this week or begin its decline. Since the end of January it has been on a nice trend run up, will it continue, I have seen the aud do this in the past. You keep waiting for it to drop but it doesnt. it likes to run run run. SOOOOOOOOO I will look for AUD buys

The CAD is finally rising from the depths of despair. It would not surprise me to see it have a good April. It needed some good new. NZD run from its interest rate hike seems to have run its course. If it continues its downturn I will start looking to sell it.

USD and GBP continue to muddle in the puddle in the middle. Some of its pairs going up, some going down, meaning it is ranging and will continue that pattern.

JPY weakness is still in play but with bad news out of China still happening it strengthens and JPY bond sales it weakens and it is making it harder to trade the currency than before. So watch your charts.

EURO how far will you go down this week. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM chf wants to follow stay tuned.

Conclusions
The one good one looks like cad will continue to strengthen and eur, chf continue to go down. after that aud strength probably continue.

Thanks, Bob (and Milanese) for the scripts.

Yesterday someone posted in 10.7 thread those 'fib channels' thingy after Boltrader posted he was using fibs for multipliers in ATRchannels. I love Al´s FastTMAlines but I keep looking for a non repainting alternative.

Playing with the fib channels I liked very much the 61.8 level applied to the 240 LWMA. It has something of the flavour of the daily TMA band plotted in 4H. I just muted the other levels and this is the result:

I had a big fight with ATRchannels(60) settings. I like very much how the Demark trendline indi spots the fractals that, at certain ATR levels, act as turning points. I also love Boltrader´s reverse to the mean trading style and was seeking for a way to arrange the multipliers to fit as tight as possible to the turning points (fractals). Finally I found these multipliers spot very well the Hot reversal zones: 2.7 / 3.7 / 4.7

This is the way the two channels combine:

I´m not sure if I need the Stoch anymore after Demark is here. A trendline breakout (confirmed by an opposite last fractal) seems quite safer entry than a 20/80 stoch cross. I´ll keep it just to confirm the breakouts. (In very low volatility constrainment zones the breakouts mean nothing and Stoch can give us a more accurate reading of bullish or bearish strength appearing in the market)
