Well, we have variations from -500 to -2000. I'm not feeling very confident that hgb will give any consistent results in its present form. There's no point in a long term forward test of a buggy system. So we will wait until hgb has developed into a reliable ea. can everyone please continue their own tests and keep bug reporting in the hgb forum. thanks |

Hi, I added some screenshots of the charts vom AMAZON VPS. Could anybody (also on amazon vps, and charts not closed yet) add screenshots of the same pair. Just remove HGB from chart and than take a screenshot. Then we can check if HGI is giving different signals (than the cause might be the price feed, HGI or something else and of course could still also be HGB related) or if HGB is reacting differently to the same visal signals. Cheers |

I agree that a broad foreward test doesn't make sense but the question remains which part of the whole system (broker, HGI, HGB, different locations of VPS servers etc.) is causing the different results. |

Well perhaps geges can test with his 15 instances on one vps so we can rule out any latency/platform problems. |

You would need to have all trades of the different instances in one spreadsheet to better analyze the difference. But one thing I noticed is that the worst performers took many more trades (180) than the rest. The best ones did less than 130. The worst instances took trades on GBPJPY (net -500 pips) on 03/02 that the rest did not. I don't have an 'original' chart of that day, but these GBPJPY trades don't make sense. On a H4 chart that time would have been a Range period and Range trading should have been on false. Also the exit of these trades is strange as these trades should have been closed well before the time stated at FX (as there would have been opposite waves and opposite Green arrow). Were these bad instances really run with the correct set file?? Unfortunately you can't see the trade comments on FX |

you can, just hover over the speech bubble icon on the right in the history list. or download the CSV via 'export' in the top right above the chart |
