It is happening to me also.
I think it could be something related with the minimum interval allowed by the criminal for pending orders...
Am I right?
I doubt it.
The sells had the same interval and those stayed there.

I have no idea why guys. Stuff is working perfectly for me - and I am trading this on my live account - so until something goes wrong at my end I am going to assume it is something you are doing wrong.

Feel free to discuss it here and try to find a solution.

G'day all, well a rather range bound week on many pairs, but yet, I still made profit, and also lost profit!

Please let me elaborate!
I have been running exactly the same settings, same brokerage account, the only difference is that on one platform I added WTI to the mix (not sure I'll keep it yet!), and left it to do its thing without any intervention. WTI was in the red, but didn't have too much of an impact! It was just the lack of intervention that did the damage...

The other platform I closed in profit when my gut urged me to... Quite the difference!

This goes to show that one must always monitor the trades, even if it's every 1 - 4 hours, but monitor the trades.

Also, I have been running normally 9 pairs + Gold (with the exception of the recently added WTI), but I think I will reduce to just a select few, as it is easier to manage. I really don't know how some can use 28 pairs etc. I would be a complete wreck! :shock:

Attached is the previous week snapshots 15th - 20th Feb + set file.

Also, over the past week I have had many PMs asking for my set files etc.
Well, I really have only made some small changes to the OOTB HGB'nG 1w version. I don't use SL or TP, I let the ATR take care of that, and use on 4 hourly charts...

I've been away for almost a year, due to the CHF-massacre and some private issues and am reading everything to get up to speed again.

Regarding HGBnG, I set the 'close on yellow wave' to 'false' and 'close on opposite signal' to 'true'.
Do I understand it right that when a grid fires on a blue wave, it closes on a yellow wave due to 'close on opposite signal'?

I have setup new terminals and decided to use your setfile on H4:
  • EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDCAD, GBPJPY, XAUUSD
I realize this portfolio is a bit "USD-heavy". Will post my results on a regular basis.
Looking forward to what next week might bring!

I have also reduced my pairs to XAU, AU, EU, GU and NU only on one account, and WTI, XAU, AU, EU, GU and NU on the other... Also using 0.01 per $2000. I sleep easy at night...

I treat my demo accounts exactly like my live accounts! I think it's always best to keep it real. ;)
It is so exciting beginning each week and watching periodically HGB'nG do its thing.

I know I've said it before, but thanks again Steve and the gang for providing us with these lovely free toys to play with! :party: :cheer:

Recent posts prompted me to add a feature I had been considering for a while. From the updated user guide:
  • LotsPerDollopOfCash: you can have your lot size automatically calculated this lot size per amount of cash in the account balance or equity. The default settings would deliver 0.01 lots per $1,000. A zero input turns this feature off.
  • SizeOfDollop: the cash increments used.
  • UseBalance: use the account balance for the calculation.
  • UseEquity: use the account equity for the calculation.
  • Example of use, choosing the equity:
    • equity = $2133.56
    • LotPerDollopOfCash = 0.01.
    • SizeOfDollop = $1,000.
    • Calculated lot size is 0.02.

Make sure one of the UseBalance/UseEquity inputs is set to 'true' if you are using the new feature. I inadvertently left them both set to 'false' and I see that some of you downloaded that version.
