I've already put in about 30 hours on this. That isn't a lot of time considering I've been duking it out with forex for 7 years now but I'm wondering if I should continue putting in energy into this with the hopes of having larger gains or just stick with what I'm already doing that is proiftable. It bothers me that I don't understand how the indicator works and I have read the materials and think that if it was that info was there I would know it. Maddash is more straight forward but is not as helpful to me as another strength meter that I have. I understand you don't want to give everything away and that you want to make people work for it and I really respect that but I also think that at the same time there could be much better explanation about this Maddy indicator. It seems quite complicated and there's not enough explanation in my opinion. You could keep your amazing settings for yourself but still provide more assistance. If you disagree, I respect that.

I thought the explanation was good enough and this is the best I can do. I believe majority of traders agree the explanation is adequate and that's good enough for me as you can never satisfy everybody. I trade about 4 - 6 hours and also have a fulltime job. I think we have made enough sacrifice sharing our research and someone generously coding it and writing an EA and taking time again to write a user's manual. The best people can do is to read and if you have questions, ask specific questions and someone will glad to answer you.
I\d love for someone to explain in a paragraph the nutshell version of how this actually works (what are the signals actually, what do those arrows mean?) so I can make some use of it..

And my friend, like you said, you already have a profitable system and this is definitely not for everybody just as your system may not work for me. I am only responding to you because I am not at work today, and when I return from work, I should spend time with the family that has so graciously left me alone to spend the last 7 years working on this project.

And please don't misunderstanding me as I have given my best and don't know any better way to explain than I already have; maybe some else can :youknow:

Perhaps I'm wired to do better with a simpler method and I've been greatly inspired by how you've shown tremendous confidence in your trading by trading with a large lot size compared to your account size. I will keep doing what I'm doing and the next step for me is upping my trade size. Thank you!

Update: MADDY1.7 in Post 1

It was requested, to have multiple columns for the same timeframe. Eg. D1 for period 3, D1 for period 5 ... etc etc. MADDY1.6 wouldn't allow that, as each column name had to be unique, and the column name only consisted of the timeframe, not the slow and fast ma period. This has been added to MADDY1.7. In order to know which is which, the column name(s) now also include the MA period that has been configured for that timeframe, in the form of eg. D1{13} (single line) or D1{13,5} (MA crossover). Unfortunately, this will make the column names slightly wider, and therefore the default CellWidth has been increased to 70 (from 50).

Iapplied the new settings on page 4 but my screen isn't showing anything?
I turned the 2 filters on and change it to 0.2. Nothing is showing.
