Hi
I tried to make the DeMark Trend Line indi below TDesk compatible without much success. Can anyone help ?
The TDesk codes added are in lines 9, 20, 21, 71, 111,2017, 340 and from 356 to 369. I am looking for long signals on upper trend line break and vice versa. I am using the DMTL in manual trading with TDI confirmation. TDesk as a trading aid for the 28 pairs would be very helpful. Thanks to Ehrenmat for the TDI MTF indi.

A very simple trading strategy. Only two indicators. Can't get any simpler.

As an alternative, can someone help with a set file using TDesk Signals Drone ?

Many thanks again. There is really no hurry. I am using it for TDesk Dashboard for manual trading. Right now the popup alert of the indi is more than adequate. However, if we can make the TD version work, we can even test if we can auto trade the strategy. That can be a bit difficult because right now, I only take a trade if the TDI angle shows momentum i.e. pointing at 2 o'clock for longs and 5 o'clock for shorts, which is a very visual thing. Don't think we can program that for the TDI indi. As regards the ATR Volatility thingy, don't work for me either. But thanks for your effort anyway.

Hey Folks,

I looked through the code and found the problem for not changing from FLAT to NULL/None Signal in TDesk. Now it really does work!

so, here is the combined ATR Period Volatility Indicator TD version originally submitted by EJ. There are three options to play with. In each case, a permanent FLAT Signal will be published to TDesk to block trades at low volatility. As soon as the indicator constellations described below come up, the FLAT Signal will get deleted by publishing a NULL / None Signal and subsequently allow a formation of Solo Signals.
ATR Volatility MA TD v1.4.mq4
First: ATR above the Smoothed ATR allows the formation of any Solo Signal

Second: ATR above the ATR Moving Average allows the formation of any Solo Signal

Third: Smoothed ATR above the ATR Moving Average allows the formation of any Solo Signal

Please note: To date, all three indicator Signals access the same TDesk Signal Slot called ATR-V

My interpretation of the TDI signals into TDesk signals is described in the input section. On one side, there are trend filtering signals (Market Condition) and on the other side, there are triggering signals (Price Action, Hook Action and Turning Point):

Market Condition Signals are structured as followed:

TDesk Abbreviation: TDI-MC stands for 'Market Condition'

Optional with every TDI-MC signal: Send an explicit FLAT Signal in Overbought/Oversold territory

Very Weak Trend Signal:
LONG: Green>Yellow
SHORT: Green<Yellow

Weak Trend Signal:
LONG: Green>Red
SHORT: Green<Red

Medium Trend Signal:
LONG: Green>Red&Yellow
SHORT: Green<Red&Yellow

Strong Trend Signal:
LONG: Green>Red, Red>Yellow
SHORT: Green<Red, Red<Yellow

TDI-CC stands for Cautious Conditions:
Green in Overbought/Oversold territory sends a SHORT/LONG Signal

UPDATE: The THREE ways to detect decreasing Volatility are now split into three separate TDesk Signals:

TDI-V stands for 'Volatility':

Decreasing Volatility is depicted by narrowing Blue Bands. This blocks entries by sending a FLAT Signal.

TDI-R stands for 'Ranging':
Decreasing distance of Green to Red blocks entries by sending a FLAT Signal. The TDI-R Signal will be deleted as soon as the distance of Green to Red widens again.


TDI-OOR stands for 'Overbought/Oversold Ranging':
Decreasing distance of Green to Red in Overbought/Oversold territory sends a Signal opposite to the 'Market Condition - Weak Trend Signal'. The TDI-OOR will be deleted as soon as the distance of Green to Red widens again.
Optional: The TDI-OOR Signal shall be FLAT as soon as the distance of Green to Red widens again.


Trigger Signals:

Price Action or TDI-PA:
LONG/SHORT Signal when Green crosses Red from below/above

Hook Action or TDI-HA:
LONG/SHORT Signal when Green crosses Blue back from bottom/top

Turning Point or TDI-TP:
LONG/SHORT Signal will be sent when the Green line is at a lower/upper turning point.
This is made possible by the 1st Dervation of the RSI Signal Line. In the indicator, the new SIgnal Line is depicted in White and sends TDesk Signals when crossing the 50 line from below (LONG) and above (SHORT).
UPDATE - UseThreshold: The 1st Derivate of the RSI (White) must exceed a Threshold of 50 +/- 'RSI1stDThreshold' to allow a directional Signal. The default input of 18 leads to an upper threshold of 68 and a lower threshold of 32. Below this threshold, a FLAT TDI-TP signal will be published.


Final note: Please leave some critics in case you should use this indicator and implement it successfully in your trading setup.

Hey Peter,

here is the 10.7 TDMTL indicator with the fixed TDesk signalling. You had evereything in the right place but the signal "NONE" does not exist in TDesk and needs to be "NULL" instead.

Hi @all.

Ben and I are planning to maintain an index of all published drone indicators in this thread. All you fantastic drone creators, please obey the following:

* Each indicator should be posted only once so we can index the post containing it. We can't keep track of each latest version if there are umpteen posts with the same thingy just updated.

* If you are the originator of an indicator and there is an update, publish it in the original post and create a new informative post with a link to the first one. Of course you can keep different versions and a change log in your first post if you feel like.

* If someone else contributes and posts an update, the originator should download and re-publish it in his original post, naming the contributor and summing up the changes. The contributor shall delete the file in his post and add a link to the original post.

* If you want to make a contribution to a setting, another way is to send it with some explanation via PM to the originator for publishing.

This way we can keep the place tidy and structured. Please clean up your existing posts accordingly.
