Very cool! Yes, awesome as usual NT. :D

I don't think I'm applying it right. I applied 7 versions with rules 1 through 7, and it doesn't look quite like yours. I set the "Rule" input to the # I was using, and then set the corresponding UseRuleN to True. Is that right?

BTW in your TmaPointsForAngle input, using points means that the same slope would have different values at different TFs. Would it work better to use % of ATR instead?

For single Rules you only need to set the Rule Parameter...The UseRuleN is only relevant when you setup a ruleset with multiple rules.
I just checked it here with my display...and everything except the pivots /Rule 7) looks ok to me...do you have a criminal with Sunday candle? I couldn't test it since i don't have a Sunday candle...try to set addSundaytoMonday = false... maybe it works.. ;)

hmmm...the TmaPointsForAngle is related to the TMA Values...it is the difference of the current TMA Value and the TMA-Value of x-Bars (TmaBarsForAngle) before. If the Value is to great it will not signal that much...but this is exactly the use case for this indicator...to test and see what works and what does not..;)

Hi Neo Trader - this is a problem I have been having for a while but never brought it up. When I am using the NT TMA True Slope Hist MTF the time frame and the value on the right hand side disappears
when I change time frames and only comes back if I click on edit?

yes...this is a bug I know of...and hope to fix in the next version...in the meantime just right click straight on the tma slope and call the properties ...click ok and the info will be there again...

There are some differences but (other than rule 7) nothing severe:

I do indeed have a Sunday candle (Cowboy IBFX). addSundaytoMonday was already False by default. I set it to True (on all 7) and nothing changed that I could see.

Description:
Sorry Guys...made a crucial cut, copy, paste error...must be the energy of our bloop proven host.. ;)

The TMA TF of the TMA-Angle Calculation (Rule 3) is always using the TF of The Rule 2 TMA....


Updates:
  • Fixed: TMA-Angle Calculation (Rule 3) was not using his own TF Parameter and was always using the TF of The Rule 2 TMA....
  • A little modification on Pivot (Rule7)
I also attached a Screen shot on the main post with a example of a possible analysis setup to look for a scalping strategy.

If you have any further Feature Requests (eg. Rules) or find any Bugs please inform me here on the thread.
