Nanningbob 10.1 The EA is here

Hi,

Great EA. Trade is disabled when using it on Alpari. Can not place new orders. I have no idea why. I can place manual orders. Even with earlier Empty4 builds. Works well on demo account though. Is it Alpari blocking the EA or what? I have other EAs working well on the same account. Any idea or solution?

I like this EA, fits my trading style. When I like something it just does not want to work : (

I am not sure who else is testing this EA as this threads seems to be abandoned but I have managed to make it work on one of my installed mt4s. It runs well on demo and live account and it is profitable (about 6 weeks, about 8% profit, kind of neglected the whole thing on demo and there was a time when I was up about 15%, only the euro panic brought my the down a bit, should have switched it off, no DD ever experienced) and it enters trades that can be managed manually later on. There is only one small problem with it, many times it can not place a trade (invalid stop). I do not know what the reason is and how it can be solved but enclosed is a picture of the symptom, it does it on live and demo account, Alpari UK. I know there is 10.2 EA and all, but this EA is working well, too. As if you guys are so well equipped now that you do not know anymore which profitable EA to run on your single account, a good situation, indeed ; )

Anyone can offer a solution, if it is a problem at all?

That's interesting. I just wonder what makes it a sure-fire loser? Considering that it operates with an SL function that prevents it to become an immediate loser, I do not understand the reasons.

Attached is the balance curve (the equity curve is a bit worse but similar) for the last 6-7 weeks (used 0.01 for the first 2 weeks, then switched to 0.02). Steady growth is shown here. It went into becoming a loser only during the time when markets were absolutely crazy. Anyone knew which way to trade? That's why I said the EA should have been just switched off.

A great shame - a beautiful strategy that will trade some mkt conditions well. At the mo it's a loser. In fact such a loser I would suggest putting in a reverse function.
I'm not a coder, but I would imagine it wouldn't be that difficult.
