Steve, I think this is one of your most successful bots ever...after the massive swings last week with the Scottish referendum it was a great test for FB which handled itself beautifully. I do think that trading all pairs with max 10 trades is overtrading on an account this size. With reduced pairs and reduced max trades I think we have a winner!

Hi Shelley,

I think your demo is very valid as a good example of what FB can do. Perhaps, the number of pairs traded or the lot size was excessive. Nevertheless, your results are fantastic.

I am trading FB in two accounts with the following parameters:

First account:

-risk percent 1%.
-Timeframe 60 minutes (I changed the timeframe from 15 minutes to the hour).
-All pairs (28) are allowed to trade, but I am using Pair Balancing to limit the max number of pairs opened at the same time to 5, the max number a currency is used to 2 and the max buy/sell delta to 1.
-Max trades 10.
-In MPTM, the Global Percentage Profit is 1%.

Second account:

-risk percent 0.3%.
-Timeframe 30 minutes (I changed the timeframe from 15 minutes to 30).
-All pairs (28) are allowed to trade.
-Max trades 10.
-Not using MPTM, but another EA that calculates stop losses and take profits individually.

As you must know these approaches are purely experimental (although I am trading them live in tiny accounts) and must serve only as a brainstorming for ideas.

Hi taipan,

I cannot post here my modifications of the FB EA without the permission of SH, and only in compiled .ex4 coding, because I do not want to open a way for multiple alterations and eternally recoding. Also take into account that these modifications are experiments, and I am still testing the code.

The current performance is good, but i got my reservations since the current markets are almost trending like crazy, which tend to be good for this kinda bot. We need to see how this performs in sideways markets to determine how it really performs in the long run. I think these options of pendings, fractals based on close can be coded in as options in the bot. Cheers

A dedicated forum would be good to keep different versions separate, although I'm not sure how much tinkering is really necessary given the extraordinary results most people are getting. Personally I think the core principals FB is based on is sound as it is without excessive tinkering... Just my 2 cents
