Hi Gary, firstly, i agree with you 100%, only half of what Eval gets in would be more than good enough. I also think that Eval has his own 'style' of trading and can recognise patterns and understands the hi's and lo's opf the market, better than the normal guy/trader/gal on FF. He would have the uperhand there, but an EA is proving a little dicey, as Steve had warned. Repainting thingies are not so great to draw info from!!! i think we can at least get into the right direction using the available inikators, but i really liked what you said about ATR. i tried to mess around with the ATR settings in the EA, but i seem to get it wrong. It's alot for you to look over, but here's the short on the issue. i noticed your comment here and tried to run some of the position/charts with-out the BE. i really got burned by those positions. i must be getting something wrong on the ATR. When the position went the correct way, it did so all the way, but movements like that are far and wide between. your point is exactly a hassle i got as i also trade in the metals, only my ava accounts have the metals trades, but if you look at silver against gold or platinum, they are completely different settings. no matter what i try there, i get burned, TF's, Trailing Stops, and our favourite fixed stops. i keep getting caught by the volatility as some currencies also have. can you suggest a setting for the ATR mode here. Slowkey and i would be more than happy to 'marry it' to the other settings on different TF's and see what we can come up with in both currencies and metals. i have already posted this link, but you'll only find what i already told you in a nutshell, http://www.myfxbook.com/members/cuzgeor ... n7zOJfAiHc please let us know if you have any ideas to try. thanks cuzgeorge |

Who the blue blazes do you think you are and how dare you ask this question? You have proven conclusively that you do not even know how to run an EA, despite the fact that post 1 here states definitively that understanding how to do so is a necessary prerequisite to using the bot here. Not that that fact should be anything other than ball-crushingly obvious to anybody but the most moronically stupid of sub-humanoid creatures. Whether you come into the intelligence category of sub-humanoid creatures is clearly open to debate. Actually, I am being pretty stupid here. To come into this forum and ask whether one of my robots is for real marks you down for all to see as a cretin. I am in a good mood tonight, or was until I read the more imbecilic of your posts, and so have not deleted your registration. Yet. Which bit of: "To trade this robot, you have to understand: - How to use EA's." from post one do you not understand? To? trade? this? Ahhhh. I see. 'robot' is a two syllable word and this defeats you. I really must stop using complicated language in my thread starting posts. Use Google to look up the words in post 1 that defeat you. You will find Google an invaluable resourse, except where it uses two syllable words, in which case you will be utterly defeated. Not that you understand this paragraph, with its deliberately-used multi-syllable words. Do not expect my sunny disposition to survive another encounter with your mindless stupidity. One more example of it and I will delete your registration here. Go away and play with the children and leave the grown-ups to their more serious business. |

George I find your results interesting. Going to do a quick optimization of some numbers and see if I can turn my 60-5 around. Looks promising. |

After Extensive testing by several veterans and myself we have made revisions to the Symphonie System that may effect your coding of the current Symphonie EA. First, we have replaced the old Extreme (GoldSuperCycle) indikator with the more stable and most importantly NONrepainting TVI Histogram. Also, I am using Steve's version of Sentiment (BullBear) in the new Matrix 3.0 as it appears to repaint less while keeping the same input settings as the old one. Attached you will find all the new setups and indikators that I use for Matrix 3.0. I hope you will find this upgrade an improvement to Symphonie in as much as we while testing over the past weeks. Best Regards, Evaluator. |

Hello Eval. So the rules remain exactly the same (as per your post 1 in FF, including all the links posted by you) only with this new set of indicators? |

Only re modification is for extreme you no longer have to wait 4 bars to exit. One should exit on the close of the first bar. |

Just to let you guys know, I am not ignoring this. I have been busy with Gertge recently - anyone keeping up with that thread understands why. Eval contacted me early last week about the change of Extreme indi and I coded an EA for him. The indi had a different name. All I have to do is change the name in the code and the EA is updated. Coming soon. |
