going to run for a week on each chart and see what happens.

I'm probably going to end up with MBTM, just want to try this and see what or how frequent the trades are. If they come hard and strong, it will be MBTM, if there are just a few , i'll manage with MPTM.

Okay all,
here's the link for the fxpage,
my criminal recently changed the process for opening demo's , i suppose too many of me around with too many demos accounts. I have to use a used demo and i have tried to show only info from monday, 16 sept. Sometimes it works, sometimes it go's back to view all info. i'll figure it out so watch the link;

Changed the indi TF to 5.
You'll notice mod1 on eurusd, and mod2 on usdchf. i chose those charts because of their correlation and when eurusd go's long, then usdchf should go short. Lets see how they respond.

Baluda mod 1 wants to take a buy on GBPJPY at these settings. I'm running a tick generator to see the settings on the chart before posting. lets see monday.

Hi all,
Okay, Baluda wins here, this is definately clear from the posts before that MBTM is needed. I was also confortably well into $300 profit, watched it dwindle away and now back at $100+ profit.

I am running two versions of Baluda v1e with 2 different magic numbers as mentioned before. Nothing changed here.

I've inserted two instances of MPTM and configured basket mode based on magic numbers. I have not included pending orders to the baskets.

Using $200 for TP and close baskets with a SL of $200.

BE is at $50 and JS is at $150 for the baskets. JS adds BE is true.

No hedging and changed the timer delay to 5000. Just habit for this.

Upon restarting, First basket moved Sl to BE, so thats a good sign all is working, no errors and away we go.

I'm expecting the baskets to close when TP or SL is hit.
I want to see that the pairs that still match the opentrade criteria, Take their positions again, and create a new basket.
Going to check back in a week or so.
Fxbook thingy still valid off-course, albeit at a slight disadvantage from the closed losers from before.

When trying to trade using risk % instead of lot size I am getting "2012.09.18 16:29:41 Baluda 1e EURUSDm,Daily: Alert: USDCHFm Baluda 1e OP_SELL order send failed with error(4051): invalid function parameter value"

Anyone else having this problem? I am setting lot size to 0 and risk to 2.

Hi all,
Still testing Baluda and after a few days, i can see the TF of 5M does not work well for the indicator.
I have changed back to the original 1m read time for the indi and made all adjustments to the fxpage thingy comments and ea's.

hit my fits basket of $50BE. Nice to get a result. 8-)
so it seems 5m on indi TF is no good for slope in the settings.

combined positions for both ea's are sitting at a +$157 right now, so lets see how far this runs.

checking all my other slope's to make sure i never messed with their TF reading.

great to see you noticed. :D
i'm going to get a response ready for Paul about that.
The 2nd ea had a blast today and i'm using correlation at 75.
I just want to see how this plays out and i'll post a better picture for all about settings and what my intention was.
I'm following using teamviewer so it s a painfull to see the screens clearly, will post when i get home later tonight.

Hi Patman, Paul,

thank you for the posts and the incredible EA's.

Baluda EA is finally running well for me with no errors showing up with old luc.
The problem with Mod2 i have is----
I frequently encounter PEBKAC problems.

Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair.
It is critical to understand what Steve continuously naggggggs in his post 1's about understanding slope.
With out having a plan or an idea what you want to test, then it's like searching for the pin in a haystack. I am attaching my set file for your review and to answer your question about my settings for mod1.
I have included the EA itself as there were a few changes i made that are'nt part of the externs.

use http://www.text-compare.com/ to load a copy of the original v1e and then my mod1 next to it. Hit compare and you'll see the changes i made. Look at the top where i noted the changes.
I have done something similar with mod2 but going to work on it now as it has not performed as well using symbol. you can see this if you follow the link to myfxbook thingy and scroll over to the 'comments' section of the open or closed positions.

My comment will include which ea was used, settings and you'll be able to see if the closed position was due to SL and if there is no reference to SL, i'm assuming the trend changed and the EA closed the position. Paul Please correct me if my assumption is wrong here.


The set file is hardcoded into the ea and performed very well with the MBTM combo. This set will not work properly on its own. use your own adaptation of MPTM , maybe try the percentage options. I know Steve likes using that. I've attached my MBTM for reference, but please use your own settings. It's pointless testing the same. I am using the $ options of $200 SL and $200 TP. This is relative to the lot size i'm using and i will be looking to increase the TP if all go's well, and possibly remove it altogether if the JS keeps working as it has.

remember, there are 4 charts open. Two with Baluda mod1 and mod2 respectively, and two charts with two hardcoded sets for MPTM running in basket mode (MBTM) using magic numbers to differentiate between which ea did what.

After a slow/bad start on standard v1e, Baluda mod1 did exteremely well on friday with the mods in place, and watching basket JS alerts popping up one after the other was a great feeling.
I hope you can make improvements to this, but i'm happy to make a few adjustments to mod2 and see how mod2 performs in the next week or two. I will post ea and set if they are successfull again.

Look out for the 'general' tab where i explain any settings changes, and date modded. You might have to be a member to see the whole list but i try keep it short and simple.

EDIT TO SET FILE-,If anyone is attempting the set file, i only noticed now (26 sept evening), please turn 'true' the 'BasketClosureSL' setting , i had overlooked this and i see the set file has been used already.

I am getting error "trade is disabled". I checked the EA tab is enabled with allow live trade. But the EA keep sending error. Anything I am doing wrong?
