I'm also running a version of ZP wirh the same settings except a $20 TP as opposed to $10 we'll see how she fares in comparison.  |

Hi peeps ! :hi: These AFP bots Jose coded are amazing ! Nearly all of them, even older “family members”, give pretty good results. The most important thing is IMO: it seems Jose could finally, after hard work, overcome the problem of BEG (balance equity gap) or formerly for grid traders the GTG (grid trading gap). That nasty thing in fact sooner or later resulted in failing of many EAs. So now we are in a much more comfortable situation !! Jose did a big step forward – great ! The “Greifenwalder” is a real trading tart ! Unbelievable - it’s acting as if in a trance ! Is it flying into a frenzy ? Anyway I have to watch it further, may be the number of trades must be lowered: bcz of a high number of trades open the margin is sometimes below 1000 %. In any case this killer machine must be tested further. For instance I could close at Friday all trades and restart the bot at Monday or Tuesday. By this way we could earn every week a good cash for sure and collect the money before WE without risking losses of the nice gains we already made ! I think this is a good tactic approach using this EA life. I also started most of the bots Jose coded recently as a new generation selected for further intensive testing + improvements. So for these new tools some more time is needed before making any conclusions !  |

:hi: Hi friends ! In this post I share my settings for the EA FirstStrike (“FS”) I’m testing during the last 3 months. Take into account that all these settings aren’t a result of longer testing or BT’s (I never used or use nor will use back tests !). So they definitely cant be optimal ... but they are working ! It should be good if someone interested in this funny bot would tweak the settings further and share here some results ! All in all testing this weekly trading boy is a long journey  !The FS is running at the platforms GP 8, 15, 19, 20 and 33. Of course you know, GP stands the broker “Global Prime” - the only broker I really may prefer ! I use all pairs GP does offer accept all CHF pairs. All charts are weekly, the bot is a single pair EA – you have to open all charts and put the the bot on any single chart ! Set the manager EA (sAPBM – another Tommaso’s great creation !!) on a chart you do not use at all, like gold or so. (To avoid trouble caused by fucking continuous updating of the Empty4 use the ex.4 files only  )Load the setfiles you find in the attached “All stuff you need” folders into the appropriate EAs. I hope I included the newest versions of the bots. AND: Don’t forget – my settings AREN’T SET IN STONE ! They won’t guarantee success, bcz they are chosen more by chance plus based on some general thoughts only, not very professional I think ! Try perhaps your own settings, presumably they will be better ! Share them here ! Ahm … yes, I use a much higher risk in the FS, then recommended by Tommaso. I know that. However that’s bcz of early testing results did show a minimal lot size of at least 0.03 is necessary – using smaller lot sizes cause trouble for the bot in closing the baskets. I could see often enough, that the gains made in the first days quickly, couldn’t fill the allotted TP for a long time. At the end the bot lost all the nice firstly obtained pips … so a higher lot size allows to reach the TP smoothly. Have fun !  |
