Dear All,
Here are my demo trades from last week:
48th week.png
demo account, 5000$, 1:50.
Last two weeks I experienced DD, and to resolve it I went trough Bob's advices again:
-low(er) lot,
-large SL around 240MA, or at of its half value,
-patience,
-I use Steve's MPTM to get BE.

hi steve davek beat me to it, did you manage to sort out the buggy stochastic script, stopped using it as per your advice, good to see good results from everyone, i'm waiting for jem to get his credit/debit card situation sorted out, as i want to open account with GP, i refuse to pay the bank fees for transferring funds, comparing the spreads with the brokers i'm using theres no comparison, the other week at NFP, the spread widened to 30 pips on gbpnzd, with one of my brokers, a trade i was in, unbelievable.

Which buggy stochastic script? I do not recall coding any stochastic scripts recently.

Very good, Steve.

Just curious, did you make these trades raw, or did you get any assist from your 10.6 Manual Trading Aids?
All from my manual trading aids except for the winning GU - you will notice one winner and one loser. I took the second GU to see if Recovery would get me out of a poor-looking initial trade. It did but I missed a fair few pips by closing them at BE, so better to trust the trend detection and simply exit the trade if it reaches the 240.

I have developed the attitude that if I am going for a BE trade to bail on a bad trade and get it. I am happy. If that was the purpose of the 2nd trade then I was successful. What price does after that I dont care. I also some times play to start a series of trades over again. I enter a trade, that sucked, so I clear it out somehow and then look for be best next trade.

So I enter a trade and two things.

Oooops not a great 1st entrance play 2nd entrance. Both head for profit as designed and look to enter my third position.

Ooops not a great 1st entrance ................. dang price moved into range or reverse mode. Gotta get out should I take a loss or recover? I recover and got it great. Take loss great. Now where is my best entrance to start again?

That is how you have to look at it. A Recovery trade is a successful trade because the bottom line is your balance and it didnt go down. I lived to trade another day.

I´m more and more impressed by 7,2,2 Stoch. It´s the most balanced indi I have found combining speed and accuracy.

This is the Daily Stoch 7,2,2 tape (80/20 levels) applied to 4H TF. I had never seen a non repainting indi showing so perfectly where a retracement ends and a new impulse re-starts.

(The 4h Stoch applied to 1H is also awsome.).

zentauro, has your MTF stoch the "true" or "ignoreFuture" function? did you test it in forward?

Trend trading only; Global Prime; 1:100 leverage; 0.02 lots, closing half at _30 and then a 30 jumping stop; often closing a trade about half way through a session and banking the profits. Trading the pairs you can see plus EU, UJ and GJ - no trades on the last three. I am a bit reluctant to buy GJ just at the mo - pull out on the Weekly to see why.

Hi Steve:
I believe Art as well as I, mistakenly said stochastic scripts, when we meant to say if there were any bugs in your stochastic EA. It was you who had said that: Thinking and logically deducing as well as observing is required here. I believe you knew what we were referring to, sorry for not being more observant.
