I was looking at M15 charts today out of boredom due to there being no 4hr hurst filtered signals - apart from the end of day AUD takeoff. (As opposed to yesterdays 11) Looks like there could be some promise to this strategy, especially if it's used in conjunction with a 4hr HGI signal. I thought 10.7 was really cool, I don't wanna throw it out. The one thats being used in the pic is the special M15 version from the Gann Ribbon thread. Maybe adding the bands like Joe did would be good. The main weakness is how the STO lines can flip like crazy when live tested, I'll have to see how it plays out Sorry if any of you hate blue haha |

Way to go Pedro. I'll certainly have a look at the new binaries thread. I too was contemplating binaries when seeing the Hurst projection indi in action. One main concern I have about binaries is that most binary brokers appear to be 'crooks' that don't pay out, block accounts when you win too often, etc.. Lots and lots of complaints about them at FPA. But the GM mentioned before might be different. |

Pedro, i assume you are talking about Binary options - true??? My advise is run for the hills. Binary is another way for brokers to take your money. There are many blogs of the horrors of Binary. you might read Forbes Don't Gamble On Binary Options. Binary is gambling just like online poker. You are playing against the broker - house - not other traders as in Forex ECN. The broker becomes a market maker. Few forex traders use market maker brokers anymore now that ECN has become avail. How long will they let you take their money?? And you hit it on the head - need to win 2 out of 3, so you are in the hole 66% before you start. You can make money trading Forex with 50%. You cant add, subtract, exit early, etc etc or change your order in anyway with binary. The best way to protect yourself from a black swan is to have a small account size - plain and simple. If you need $1000 to cover margin for your typical style of trading and lot sizes, then keep withdrawing winners and maintain only the smallest account size, and along with that - the larger leverage will also help keep account amount down, and if you are in U S find an overseas broker - there are still some - or set up an offshore company as most o/s brokers will accept that structure even with u.s. owners. That will put another barrier in the way for an overseas broker to spend big to recover a small negative account. think about it and i think you will agree - binary is gambling. if you must trade options, then use the normal futures/options contracts, not binary. and if you lose your whole stake, get back up, dust off and start over. no matter what you say, these black swans - dropping 1500 to 2000 pips - only occur rarely. and several brokers, blogs, Dukascopy for one, warned the CHF unhook was coming months before. Slowkey, your quote Hey guys and gals what do you think of what Pedro just gave us. Two averages based on TMA that mark out the best of the RAD and other signals as well as countertrend vs trend continuation with the RAD's. Muuh is right, HGI repaints every time you re-initialize. It looks back and finds the best curve fit. This is due to the use of TMAcenter. TMAcenter can not be coded to not repaint. There are many comments in this and HGI thread about repainting. You will find a big diff in before and after re-initialized charts. Answer is to trade only in the current candle, and/or for back testing, never re-initialize - use a VAS or such. ron |

re my last post - i meant use a VPS - a steady platform - to gain enough history for HGI for you to study for your plan. A VPS should not re-initialize therefore giving good reliable results of placing the HGI symbols as they would be in live, not curve fitted back. |
