Hi guys

Just testing v 1.k since opening and I have an bad feedback from the option CloseOnFalseSignal on my four CrapsT4 running, just draining my accounts by opening and closing all night , finally I disabled the option see what is going on, others one get the same problem ? :arrrg: :arrrg: :arrrg:

Looks like we've got a winner, excellent performance thus far by TraderJoeForex.
Maybe we need to start thinking about an option to increase lot size if the previous position closes in loss as it seems to be part of the magic here!

Hey.. I only trade H1 from about 6am to 4pm. Entry criteria is Trend Arrow on 22pairs + gold - this is managed by HGB with close on 1st opposite (usually wavy or range arrow) although I usually exit manually before the opposite. 1 main trade only.

I don't set a SL (the close on opposite is my safety net) and I set TP 2x each pair's ATR.

If I close at a loss ( I usually let the trade run to the opposite) then I increase the lot size from 0.01 to 0.02 in HGB for the next trade on that pair. If I loose again then I increase to 0.03 etc.. (I would hold at 0.05 but haven't had 5 losses in a row yet).

After winning trade back to 0.01.

What I can say is that I am really not doing anything special.. I have just elimated through trial and error the things which don't seem to work or make any difference and focused instead on what does (managing the trade!)

I am no longer increasing lot size after a loosing trade. Only reason being this uses up too much margin if there are a few loosing trades on one pair and I may then miss a signal on a another pair - the past two weeks I have been running HGB on H1 and H4 simultaneously for each pair (H1 requires plenty of chart watching..)

I don't do multi trades just one trade per pair with trend wavy or arrow to enter. Good exits are the only secret to what makes my strategy work. I don't exit on opposite as this is almost always either too early or way too late.

I have been using TDMTL to guage exits as I mentioned previously but this is a bit subjective and I think I have an equivalent idea now which will be simpler to automate and if proven over the next two weeks I will offer to pay Steve to code and I will also share it here.

I am just going to trade H4 for these two weeks as it will make the results easier to analyse if just one timeframe so let's see how It goes...

Just to update. I am now ending May's test. I got caught on a recovery trade with EURJPY for an exit that I missed end of last week. Silly me. This skewed the drawdown massively into this week.

I am starting a new test for June and will post more on this soon.

Hey guys, seem as how its been over a month running this test I am posting the results of my version of HGB.

The settings act similar to Zennors Piproid in that they will stack trades in succession at each 20 pip level until HGB gives the opposite wave. I have tried using a basket TP but why not take advantage of HGB's nice exits and maximize the profits. I have made the trades go to BE at 100 pips so there should never be more than 4 or 5 trades that stand the chance of going negative at any one time. These settings take advantage of the moves in our favour and minimizes the impact of bad signals.

A couple things that I think could make this work even better and more efficient is having the multiple pendings based on ATR like ZP, and Risk based lot sizing for the different currency pairs.

Please note the DD sustained on the account was due to my computer restarting and my Empty4 terminal being shut off for several days. :arrrg: The real DD was around 10%
