Thank you Steve and Cyberevil for the hard work.

Steve, maybe a very dimwit question :) - do you use the default settings or do you try different settings? My results on demo does not reflect the results you posted in previous posts (such as also Bob 'n Grid and his ma) - maybe broker issues?

Hi Steve et al,

Just a thought but should we perhaps implement a start time for opening new trades after the weekend, in much the same way as we can stop opening trades early on a Friday? Unless I've missed something, I think the only means to do this at the mo applies to every day?

The thin trading and gaps at the Sun/Mon open can paint an unrealistic picture so any signals generated can be a tad dodgy, I'd rather let things settle and steer clear until at least the London open before opening any new trades. Of course, if any can be favourably closed during that time then they should be.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to personally thank everyone who has been testing this ea. As you all know we are at version Z now. What does that mean? It means that Steve has invested a great deal of time and effort into this EA.
He is a very dedicated individual who is a super star when it comes to coding features and functions at a such a fast pace that it goes from an idea to reality in no time.

I know we're all very busy individuals that live in such a fast paced world and sometimes it's very easy to forget the good "free" things in life. If you guys have a moment and are sitting in front of your desktop with a glass of wine/whiskey seeing HGBnG kicking markets a$$ up, down, and sideways. It's all because of Steve! Please also take this moment to donate to him for all his hard work that he puts on not only maintaining this amazing board but all the EAs he is working on.

I can't find another place like this in the forex category that gives so much to its members.

HGBnG has come long way, and as you all know in forex 3 patterns that either make you a great trader or make you jump over the nearest bridge. When the market goes up up up, down down down or ranges on for long time. We know this ea makes money when the first two patterns take place and it's very good at it. We're hoping now with this new technique and feature added by Steve, it will battle the ranging market that was holding this ea back and holding your capital hostage, making you miss all the big moves.

Hi Cyberevil,

I just want to express my sincere thanks for your continued input into this project. Keep the great ideas coming! I think this collaborative and iterative effort will bring great rewards for all but let's not forget the real work involved in making it happen. A few pips thrown Steve's way will hopefully keep him iterating at lightspeed and bring us all closer to what we're all seeking.

Don't forget that any great invention has to start with an idea, so without your ideas we wouldn't be where we are today.

I've been doing this technique manually on one system and I'm quite surprised how well it has worked on an account that was in DD from $3000 and went down to $2800, so quite a bit of drop. It was a big grid of 30 buys/sells just to test the theory. Just yesterday it has climbed up to $3681 so I closed all pairs to give them a restart. I think this thing might have legs :shock: I created manual buys and sells using an older version of the ea. Not with yellow wave option. I'll try to put it into DD again and see if I can repeat it for next week. This test was done using 0.02 lots.

For those thinking about or PM me for my set file. It's been posted here somewhere, but in all reality it's better if you learn the EA and make your own set file because in the long run it'll only benefit you.

yes I agree with you both on playing with the set files and making them your own. Also using higher TFs.
Although I have had some success on the 4 hour chart, I feel it may run even better on the daily TF.

Next week I will be trialling both HGB_nG V1z Hedging, and non-Hedging on the Daily TF to see how it goes.
Will post my results at the end of the first week of March... Very exciting stuff! :smile:
