Just wanted to report my 1 month data for HGBDSSFB which I am trading a bit different to others

I have set it up so that it only takes single trades when the 1W & 1D CSS are in agreement and there is a FB signal on H1. {HGBFB CSS 1D1W_1HFB.set}

I then use MPTM to set the TP and SL on each individual pair at 2.5ATR (Daily) {MPTM 3SL basket.set}

I also have MPTM set so that the Basket TP is 3% and the SL is 3%.

The idea is that the SL and TP on each pair are wide enough to give the trade room to move and it only closes if it hits the 2.5ATR TP or SL (Note: it takes quite a few days close each trade).

The 3% basket SL is there so that if a number of positions reverse all trades are closed out. I am hoping if this is the case then the 1D or 1W CSS would have reversed so there will be no more trades opened till the trend is established again (to date I have not had a basket closure so not sure about this setting yet - 3% maybe to high on a $10k demo account)).

Also note that I have removed most of the NZD and CHF pairs

My goals for HGBDSSFB are modest. I wanted to find an EA that I could run live on just a $1,000 total investment that would have limited risk with a chance to modestly add to my balance over time. I know from testing that there are losing weeks when SS changes direction and moves against your trades, but I've got a little bit of a cushion now going forward.

I'm going to try to get some final trade manager settings organized for the start of next week. If I can do that, I'll post how I'm trading with the trade manager involved.

Kopan had sent me a PM, that among other questions asked if I had tested this with the H4 TF. I haven't, but I think it's worth a good test. I'm thinking the SL would need to be bigger for starters. Offhand, I would think it would work better using the weekly SS as a filter instead of the Daily SS, staying two timeframes above the trading timeframe, but if I can get some CPU time among my multiple tests, it has me interested in trying both and seeing how they perform.

Important side note - I am running the EA with one small change, which is that I've taken out the part of the code which closes buy trades when you get a sell signal and vice versa. Trading in the middle, if I get a valid sell signal when a buy trade is open, I want to leave the buy trade open. At the very least, they hedge each other, but there is also the chance they could both eventually end up in profit.
