Oh, sorry, forgot to point out, that is the light brown dotted line on the chart shown. You can find it in a few places.

I think default settings are 10 days & smoothing of 3 ???

But I use 14 days (periods actually) and smoothing os 2.618 - go figure

gbp/chf took off last night for 50+ pips. Took 60% set it at +10 and let the rest ride. See how much it will run. :D

nice breakouts for the euro and chf. I have done well on the chf and a couple of the euro. Finally the market has come back to life. The surprise was the cad was the currency that went down. If something goes up, something must come down. Missed all the cad moves.

Earlier I had talked about the aud nzd. The NZD is finally sinking faster than the aud as the aud has retraced for now. Set up my 2nd trade to recover. 40-50 pip break of off the R1 line and am home free. See the bounce off of the monthly pivot so will play the range of the aud/nzd. aud/nzd is one of the great range trading pairs if you like to range trade.

Only viable trade I see tonight, got in now and hope for that it hits the next weekly resistance. We will see how it pans out.

I am not convinced yet Bob. There may well be more of an uptrend continuing!

I decided to make U/J my 3ed pair. Gives me a nice range. Will set up a pending buy order as I think it may well kick in again.

Maybe but aud/nzd has always been my favorite pair to range trade.

Another variant of Bob's wonderful system. H4 trading with MACD crossover, etc. based on 4 elements -- Direction, Momentum, Trigger & Strength. Manual (or semi-automated at this point in time).

200+ pips from mid-morning till now. Big Mac anyone? :D

Big Mac is fun. But I am wondering about your basket because Eu/Au and Au/Chf did not come across as pairs to trade on the Cross Monitor v5 for me. Did you do these simply because you had a cross on the H4?

Yup, correct. I saw the arrows flash & then I set the EA there. Upon crossing, it took the positions. But really, I should have waited till the arrows turned constant. ;)
