Just trading yen pairs for now.

Patiently waiting for another retrace. From London open today, live account increase only 3%, not as good results as Steve, but I am not complaining.

Some retracements in yen pairs through the night. However, none of the trades were triggered by ea on demo, not sure why.

However, just putting pending limit buy orders on the daily pivots on all yen pairs netted 8% gain on live account since Tokyo open. Closed all trades manually at 10 am. Done for the day.

HI Peter,all,
heres a pic of the results so far with FX8000 method of JPY trade. Not bad at all, considering leaving this for a while, even if a retrace starts and then hoping GDAY2 only jumps in with an uptrend.

Second pic is of the open positions still trading and winning.

I can confirm that a second modded version running on 4hr charts with normal previous settings is also picking up the same buys as with FX's buy only mode.

I have stuck to 30M TF's and not changed any code. Only chnaged parameters for the 30M charts for the JPY buys only. Look at comments to see the buy only positions as opposed to the normal positions.

Well done, Cuz. Glad to see that the Gday ea works for you.

The main thing is that with such a strong trend in the yen pairs, any strategy that goes long in yen pairs are also successful.

I trade manually and using ea to enter at retracements. As I posted above, just merely putting pending limit buy orders on the daily pivots work as well. Couple of days ago, I was also putting buy stops above previous highs, but no longer. Buying from retracements are less risky and potentially more profitable.

The upward move in yen pairs is still quite strong. If one is trading manually, keep putting limit buy orders to catch any retracements should work well. I use Bob's 10.5 template.

For the past few days, this method has been extremely profitable.

Closed all trades, this time for sure.

Added another 6% to my account.

I cannot recall another occasion like today, the yen trend is SO PREDICTABLE !

RINSE AND REPEAT TOMORROW.

Hope you guys pick up some green pips from the retracement this pm.

My GDAY MK2 demo failed to enter any trades today. May be the copy is corrupted. I will download another copy and try again.

I will use M3O, a compromise from using M15 which is prone to more false entries, and H1 which may not have enough entries.

Peter,
I am on 30M and Gday2 picked up a few of them, but towards the end of the day when that retracement came you mentioned earlier, JPY, lost on those positions. :shock: Server time was at 14:00 GMT.
Heres a pic With all the trades of only today, completely by the EA and no interferences. My BE and JS settings are 20/10 and 20 with addBE=false.

The DD on the platform is from another EA and not because of GDAY 2 , please DO NOT look at the DD in relation to Gday2 , i'm just trying somethings out on the demo, but showing are only results from Gday 2 for the day.
