I notice that the programme opens trades on pairs that I haven't loaded onto the platform being used.

How does that work?? :?

Please forgive me for being so abrupt! :oops: Caught me out before I could delete that question! Didn't expect a reply so quickly! :oops: :oops:

I understand that there is no stop loss... it is just that I have recently had a couple of JPY trades go seriously backwards and put my little $500 play account into Margin Call before I closed said trades -- And I also understand that this is an occupational hazard with this style of trading.

Over the past 40+ years of practice I have gotten into the habit of asking very blunt 'Why can't it be done?' questions of myself, my patients and my staff. I expect everyone around me to think outside of their dots. Tends to work wonders!

Sorry! It has been pointed out to me that I am reverting to type and could be more diplomatic! Hope you will forgive me! :lol: :lol:

What Mantkinth isn't telling you is I'm driving him nuts changing things all the time....but he's been a champion with the coding.

What I'm aiming for is to benefit when when price trends or ranges and we're close. What takes time is the testing on live trades. I want to present a finished article here and then open it for testing to a wider audience. I don't have the time to first develop the strategy on the forum because in my experience things veer out of control because of people's enthusiasm and willingness to help--its like having a strategy planning meeting and inviting thousands of people to participate--all at the same time. Chaos.

But rest assured I'm not going anywhere--I'll do the grunt work (with Mantkinth) then present when I'm happy I've got a proven working strategy that addresses the weaknesses of the current EA--in between doing my day job :roll: :roll: :lol:

My challenge is yours in reverse. Primarily; my work is fixing bodies that have broken down due to neglect... whose owners have run out of options offered (been written off) by main-stream methodology... and have been referred to me by past or present patients.

Similar to your programme development; for decades now it has been very well known and documented that it takes a minimum of 90 days checking, cross-checking and rechecking before any major quantifyable change due to altered medication or lifestyle becomes evident.

But try convincing people that their only alternative is to do just that -- step outside the dots into Area 3 knowledge (what you don't know you don't know!) and do something different.

I wish they were as enthusiastic to help themselves as they are to assist you develop Pooler San.
