Do these methods work consistently? I think they do. I know I'm happy with my results as are others who have dropped the "old school" way of trading these markets. While some post trades and results, some trade their accounts using these methods, but do not post. There is nothing wrong with that. I used to link live accounts all the time but it causes problems at times, especially with people who refuse to believe the results are real, consistent or sustainable. Some people don't post because they have difficulties doing so. Here's part of a PM I received today from Brian, and I hope he doesn't mind me posting it, but it relates his trading experience since he began reading the thread(s) back in March:

On February 12th this year I looked at my results over the previous "since 2002" years and thought this HAS to stop. I just cannot do this as I have slowly but certainly bled to death financially for a very long time.

Early March I started reading your Capn Jack thread and IF I knew just how to publish results this is what I would now be able to set up...and ALL live trading.

Since then and taken from Alpari's detailed report pages today:

677 trades..Short 319 (wins 100% ).Long 358 ( wins 98.32%) Profitable 671 (99.1%) ..Long 358 ( 98.32%)..Losing 6 (0.89%) Consecutive wins 315 Consec losses 2

And that's on Alpari none the less! Not one of my favorite criminals...

If Brian, Chris and I can do this, so can you.

captain jack.. i entered also the AUDNZD.. but got stopout.. but i got the right way to do it.. but i just put my stoploss to tight

hmm my sl for audnzd is at 1.16283. TP off one of the trades at 10pips, going to let the other one ride and see where it ends up. SL yet to hit so far..

Xrismak.. very nice... so you dont 6se stoplossnwhenntrading naked trading... you just use mental stop...? Am I r7ght?

You are Right, I don't use SL, but I use TP and Awesome Baluda's i-exposure tickets and my Favourite Gizmo ( Close All Script ) Most Folks use SL for their own Protection which is very Good, but I picked up the rather Bad Habit of not using TP simply because that's just Me.....

First of all excuse my English but I currently speak Spanish.
This is my first post after have read the PDF posted in PAGE 1, POST 1 along all this weekend.
I use to trade based upon Price and Volume analysis without other indicators. It has been impressive to me when I have read my MT charts with this method in mind and all those that you have been spoken here has appeared in front of my eyes with clarity.
I have found a very interesting pair to trade this week that is starting a new round. I hope my analysis be correct.

I am also reading this very interesting thread, and find this information very valuable. I'm quite new to forex, but always had the feeling the price is manipulated, to make it look the opposite as intended, otherwise they will get no counterparties for their positions. I never used those fancy indicators, don't understand them anyway. I only use a volume indicator that tells the maximum volume price from yesterday, day before, previous week and other previous timeframes, from globex data, this daily info is available for free at http://www.cmegroup.com/market-data/vol ... olume.html, the indicators are here http://trading-evolution.com/forum/portal.php (you don't even need the indis, you can check the price levels right on the webpage).

I find these price levels very useful, as price tends to return to these max volumel levels, and rebound if it doesn't get through. Price will almost always stop at these levels before continuing its way, I have seen the fox playing around yesterday's max volume price so often, and yet, I get trapped so many times...

For me it's still not so obvious what the fox really intends. Now after reading these thread, I will not get trapped so easily as before, I will look very close for the fox play patterns, and will be more selective with my entries.

AUDUSD looks attractive to me, it rebounded from yesterday max volume, it formed a W that looks will end up in a M, or maybe head&shoulders, giving a buy oportunity at 0.9177 or even lower at 0.9172. What do you think?
