yep I think so... there was a pullback, then 2 red candles (with trend, but the 2nd closed inside 3&8smma.. then another red candle closing "just" below 3smma - which I think(hope) is the trigger/signal bar.. so enter short on the open. plus mmm all red.

let's see if Shelley agrees?

If you read my post, I said we're working on the EA and it's almost ready...please be a little patient.

It will be posted when I'm satisfied it is working as intended.

Also, Steve and I are on opposite sides of the globe, so I'm sleeping when he's up & about and vice versa...that gives us a very small window when we're both actually online at the same time, so more often than not there's a minium 12 hours between communications between us.

Ok, so I don't think I've done an update this week...so please accept my apologies. Steve & I have been working on the EA and it's coming along fabulously! It's taking main trades and re-entry trades perfectly, just testing it out for a couple of days and hoping it will be ready for the new trading week

The markets have pulled back a bit and gone into range mode, so not much happening trade wise. I'm currently in the biggest drawdown since starting this demo which is now approx 5.7%, with closed profit of almost 42%...so still pretty awesome. Also it's good that the entry rules are keeping us out of the chop, which means we have to be especially patient and wait for the signals to present themselves.

Current balance: $7147.57
Floating balance: $6770.77 (approx -600 pips)

More red pips, but eurjpy has turned back green.

And still the question what do we do with our rogue gbpjpy trade??
I'm going to continue to hold the trade...bottom line for me is jpy fundamentals are it is being weakened by their government. Of course, if we do get a confirmed change of trend (which is still a way off) I will close at that time.

Hi folks, can anyone please tell me how you work out the conversion of moving averages for one timeframe to what they are in another time frame? I would like to calculate the 1 and 20 of the weekly chart to the equivalent for the daily. I feel for myself it would be beneficial to see on the daily the areas where we are ranging around a W1 cross.
Hope I've explained what I mean.
