10.3 SCALPER/RANGE TRADE SYSTEM

Hi Don,
unfortunately I'm not able to see all pairs in my window at Empty4. It ends at gbp/cad. My screen is quite small (15inch laptop). Is there any possibility to change size or something else to be able to show all currencies?

Far right of the screen just below the last tab pair (gbp/cad for you) you will see two arrows just click on the arrows and it will move the screen to the other pairs.

I removed some unusual pairs like tryjpy, usdsek and some others and limited the spread to 4 so I do have less pairs now and can see them all.

Sounds good! You may want to first save that try showing all pairs, upping the spread one pip at a time until you get all the pairs you can. If you don't get a picture after increasing a pip, go back down one pip. Just a thought, but other than maybe a exotic pair causing trouble (although they shouldn't since they're all handled the same), this is what I thought of that might get you more pairs if you're willing to pay higher spread than 4 pips.

OK right out of the box gbp/jpy +32 Eur/jpy +20 maybe should have played for DS2 eur/nzd -21 first trade reset +33 took 60% and will let the rest ride with 15 TS.

+ 64 pips right out of the box. YEAH.

I noted that I have more successful trades with the 10.3 system when I trade with the 50 EMA in the 1h chart. With the 50 EMA 1h (=200 EMA in 15min charts) means with the trend and the higher the slope the better the results.

Maybe this serves someone.

My wife has been on the phone with the food stamp office while I've been typing away on this the last half hour. Gotta go to get stamps. Hope this implements Bob's 10.3 Volatility groups well. The Volatility is constantly updating. I might change it later to update once a day (but it uses the current day in calculations, so may want to not do that if we update only at first tick of day).

Gotta go. She's been telling me to get up for more than a half hour now. Been on the phone cause I ain't moved. LOL Cya

Always like seeing guys adapt to a system. Using what they know with what I have I think helps a great deal. I played with a smoothed 10 today for a bit. Good luck.

Looks like a great indi. I tried loading it though and get nothing on screen. Has anyone else had any problems with suffixes, etc. Of course I'm not even getting the headers.

The indi eats a lot of resources and it needs time to load. I have it on a demo account (Bully Pepperstone) and there it works fine (except the alarm) with one chart opened only. If you are running Win7 install Empty4 in c:\YourBroker and not under c:\program files . Maybe this helps.

Do you have the "Allow DLL Imports" problem mentioned a few pages back? If you press Ctrl-I on the chart, is it listed as one of the indicators?

You may want to add a check to see that they have the option turned on. See IsDllsAllowed( ) in the Empty4 help for more info.
